I have a 1995 Chrysler New Yorker. The alarm used to be very annoying. If you have a remote control for the car, basically consider it your source of problems. I accidentally doused mine in water and haven't used it since. I would suggest you do the same.

I removed the horn relay and the system will flash lights and disable the engine crank for a while. I also disconnected the entire battery (very carefully) and came back. However, it still went off. So you just have to let it run its course with the battery plugged back up, the lights will flash and you'll hear the clicking sound inside the car, but it will eventually reset itself.

The only way you will be able to accidentally set off the alarm is by unlocking the door the wrong way from the passenger side. Again, if you continue to use the remote, you'll continue to have problems. Since I've lost the remote, the alarm has only gone off once in over a years time, as opposed to it going off constantly. You have loose wiring or a loose ground. Can also be the battery cables are corroded.

If it is a factory alarm, then this information can be found in your owner's manual. Don't have one, get one. Dealer or salvage yard is a source. If it is aftermarket and you don't have the manual, contact the manufacture of the system. the factory 'security system' can be disabled by closing the door, and locking and unlocking it with the key.

It depend on the brand. If its a deler item the code is usually comprised of solder type stips that are burned in certain places to create a code.

you need a new fob

To reset the alarm system on a 1999 Lincoln Town car without the use of a key fob the brain must be deactivated. Find the brain and unplug it.

pull the second and third relays on the passenger side of the underhood. the door will still lock reotely and the alarm will"function" without killing the vehicle. in otherwords your alarm will appear to function normally but without the headaches.

Usually, in this case, scenario, the car usually does that because someone in the family does not have a seatbelt on, which is bad.

Remove the fuse.

I would suspect that the alarm system is not arming. Typically this is caused by a missing hood switch bumper.

I have a 94 Altima. I pulled a small black box from under the dashboard, just above the accelerator. It has a mess of wires leading to it. Amongst the wires are two fuses. I pulled out one and the car wouldn't start. I put that back in. Pulled out the other and the car starts fine, but the keyless entry no longer works. I hate the noise and my neighbors would hate me. So off it goes, I'll use the darn key as long as I don't have to hear that alarm.

Yes it is. I purchased one for my daughter and have no problems to date. The asianwolf alarm has more features than normal alarms which I discovered by surprise one day. I recommend getting the ones with the 2 WAY CD screens so tha it will page you when someone breaks into your car.

My 2002 chevy impala security lock but i can jumpstart it and it start but after a few hours it dose it again how can i fix it

It thinks you are trying to steal the car. Try this. Lock the drivers side door and then unlock it using the key. This should turn the alarm off.
