I would suggest never dipping your cat in lime sulfur - this stuff is a tree pesticide, not a medication for cats. When lime sulfur contacts acid it can give off hydrogen sulfide gas, a potentially fatal chemical. The stomach of a cat is extremely acidic, so whenever your cat grooms itself after you dip it, you are risking your cat dying of hydrogen sulfide poisoning.
However, if this has already been done, I would suggest rinsing the cat off repeatedly OUTSIDE in the open air with a very dilute solution of vinegar - use table vinegar that is 2% and cut this by half at least (1 cup water to 1 cup vinegar). Rinse carefully and repeatedly to get everything off the cat. After this, baby shampoo or cat-approved shampoo that is not a flea/tick shampoo and rinse this out repeatedly. The smell that is left is from residual sulfides, so getting the sulfides off with a dilute acid may be the only option left.
