You must have put it together wrong. Suggest you check all bolts to make sure they're not hitting the rotor (is one longer than the other maybe?)or C/V joint when you tighten them. Make sure you didn't install the caliper incorrrectly and it's hitting something too. Hang in there, you'll figure it out.

Your car has probably been in an accident, or been run into something hard enough to deform or shift parts of the suspension around. Might even be damage to the chassis. Take it to a place that does wheel alignment, they should be able to figure it out.

I have a 1983 Mercedes 280 SE (Gray Market) For some time now it is hard to start. It runs great when it starts but it is so difficult to start that I have stopped trying. The battery is new It turns but would not start. I need help.
First remove the door panel unplug switch from motor take a 12volt battery, ground battery,take hot wire from battery touch it to terminal on motor directly,motor should start,if it does check master switch on drivers side it would be bad. Also check the actual wiring. The wires can become damaged over time, especially on the driver's side (from that door being opened most often).

There are some very quick checks to fix this. I found that my car was running very rich (lots of gas and exhaust but no get up and go). I replaced everything! Hopefully I can save you some time and money. First find the air intake sensor, it should be between your filter and the throttle along the air intake hose. Disconnect it. Try your car now. Mine turned into a formula one race car after this step alone - of course by this time I had replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, air filter, fuel regulator, O2 sensors and fuel injectors. Now it's worth keeping.
