The flasher sits above the gas pedal behind a small, black panel . The panel is held on with one star bolt and is situated between the gas panel arm and the bottom of the plastic molding that sits below the steering column. the flasher should be be green and clipped to a small, cube shaped harness and attached to the inside wall by two plastic clips. You will need to use a very small flathead to pry the two pieces apart. After removing the part you can verify that you have the correct replacement by comparing units, often times without opening the packaging on the replacement. Secondly you can verify that you did remove the flasher by putting your keys in the ignition, turning the on and then using your turn signals or hazards.

I have a '94 Cavalier, and what would happen, when i would go past 30 MPH, If i began to slow down.. the car would begin to bog out unless you hit the gas pretty hard, its like it would pop back into gear. to avoid it, i would shift the car into neutral. but as soon as i put it back into drive, it would shut off. the problem was that i needed repairs to my transmission, i would wait and try to get more answers. this may just be something similar.

Disconnect the positive cable from your 2003 Chevy Cavalier battery. Remove the cables from the front of the starter. Remove the starter retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new starter.

I believe there is a ring right below the the shift knob. pull up on that ring and i believe reverse is all the way to the right and down. i believe only newer cavaliers had this feature.

35 and it should say it right on the radiator support bracket, but I could be wrong. I think it's 35 and it should say it on the radiator support bracket, but it could be 45.

I'm assuming you mean the gear shift light...the PRND21 display light. Well, the first thing you need to do is yank out that center console. Not as hard as it sounds: There are 4 bolts (10mm size?) if I remember correctly...1 under the heating console (under a little plastic oval-cover), 1 under the center change holder (where some models have the power windows/locks unit) and 2 inside the elbow compartment (the bigger area toward the back of the console with the fliptop lid). Pull those babies out. Next take off the shifter head. There's a u-shaped clip on the front of the head...hard to see but its there. A flat-top screwdriver should yank that out (I used the actual car key)...just be careful as its usually snug. Once that's off, pull off the center console cover. The light is located under some extra parts near the shifter shaft (the overlapping plastic plates that move with the shifter). This next part I'm not totally sure about but hopefully someone else can confirm. I'm not sure if the bulb (a 194 bulb) just twists and pops out or if its actually soldered to the connect. But once you find that out, you should be good to go. I believe the bulb can just be picked up at an autobody shop. Good luck!

they make special manual window crank removal tool but you can use a screwdriver its kind of tricky though.you local parts store will have one and they will show you how to use it if you buy the tool its a breeze.and you wont damage the door panel.

This service is based on milage found in the vehicles maintanance manual that came with the vehicle. That is the only sign you need. All other signs would be an indication that you are too late. (like loud crunching noises as you engine pistons bash against the valves) This is one preventitive maintanance issue you do not want to put off.

From inside the trunk pull back the carpet and get access to the tailight assembly. Remove the fasteners on the tailights then unscrew the bulbs and replace.

the bulb can be replaced from inside the engine compartment after removing the four screws and detaching the fascia panel.the side marker bulb is located between the front end panel and radiator support.

Could be your cooling fan. And depending on what year your car is, you could have two cooling fans. My cavalier did the same thing. The fan would try to go on when the car heated up, but couldn't. I heard a distinct humming noise with it. It didn't cause any problems until I got stuck on the highway in the summer and my car almost overheated. Take it to a service station.

If it gets faster and louder when you rev the engine it might be a lifter in your valve train. Not hearing it i don't totally know.

* On models with power door locks and/or power windows disconnect the negative battery cable.If equipped with Delco Loc 2 or Theftlock audio system make sure you have the activation code * On models with power door locks pry the power door lock switch out of the door trim panel with a flat-blade screwdriver unplug the electrical connector from the switch and remove the switch * On models with power windows pry the power window switch out of the trim panel with a flat-blade screwdriver unplug the electrical connector from the switch and remove the switch * On models with manually-operated windows remove the window regulator handle * Remove the trim panel screws * Once all of the screws are removed detach the trim panel from the door disconnect any electrical connectors and remove the trim panel from the vehicle by lifting it up and away from the door

Im, not 100% sure on this, but i believe u have to remove the plugs that hold the carpet in the trunk, and all the hardware should be right there.

You need to remove the window hand crank with a window hand crank removal tool.

Caution:On models with a Delco Loc 2 or Theftlock audio system be sure the lockout feature is turned off before proceeding * Disconnect the negative battery cable * Drain the cooling system * Remove the cooling fan then remove the serpentine drivebelt 2.2L OHV Engine * Remove the water pump pulley from the front of the water pump * Remove the coolant reservoir hoses * Detach the water pump retaining bolts and remove the pump from the vehicle 2.3L And 2.4L OHC Engines * Disconnect the oxygen sensor harness connector * Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands * Remove the exhaust manifold brace and loosen the exhaust manifold bolts * Remove the radiator outlet pipe assembly to the water pump housing bolts and separate the assembly from the engine * Remove the exhaust manifold pipe from the exhaust manifold * Remove the radiator outlet pipe from the oil pan.On manual transaxles cars remove the exhaust manifold brace and keep the radiator inlet hose attached to the assembly.Pull down on the radiator outlet pipe in order to disengage the pipe from the water pump while leaving the radiator outlet pipe hanging * Lower the car remove the brake booster vacuum hose from the camshaft housing also remove the exhaust manifold from the cylinder head * Remove the timing chain cover from the engine * Remove the timing chain tensioner * Remove the water pump cover bolts from the engine block and the timing chain housing * Remove the water pump bolts and separate the assembly from the housing

Light assembly cover in the cargo compartment. Remove the lightbulb connector. Take hold of the lightbulb, push in and turn at the same time. The lightbulb will come out. Reverse the process to install the new lightbulb.
