The Chevrolet Colorado's do not come equipped with a cabin air filter

The blower motor resistor on my 2007 Chev. Colorado is located on the passenger's side, under the dash, behind the glove box. You don't need to remove the glove box, just lay on the floorboard and look up under the dash. There's a 4-wire harness plugged into the resistor assy (white plastic), in the bottom of the black heater blower shroud. Unplug the harness, remove two small screws, and pull down to remove the resistor assy.

Depending on which engine you have, the IAT sensor is located on the inlet air tube between the air filter box and the top of the intake manifold.. One plug with two wires is attached to it..

Count the spark plug wires that are located under the black plastic resonator box. There are small aluminum heat sinks located on top of the spark plug harnesses, count them.

Under the dash on the passenger side you will find the resistor. Remove the two screws and pull out the assembly. Unplug the old resistor and replace. Very simple repair.

You must use a Diagnostic code scanner that can erase trouble codes.

O2 sensor circuit malfunction (sensor 1). I got this directly out of the Haynes Repair Manual, so I personally suggest you replace your Oxygen sensors.

I have a 98 MPV and had to replace the blower motor as it had seized. I found the blower above the front passenger foot well, behid the glove compartment. It is quite difficult to twist your body to get your head and arms up there to make the swap, but I did so and everything works fine now.

REMOVE THE OUTER TWO.......THIS WILL THEN REMOVE THE COVER TO THE HANDLE........

YOU WILL THEN PROB NOTICE THAT THE HANDLE IS RUSTED LIKE NO OTHER.....YOU CAN ATTEMPT TO LUB HANDLE UP AND MIGHT MOVE........BUT I WAS NOT SO LUCKY..GOOD LUCK

there is no reset for the electrical. change battery,and master switch should fix all problems

The Question Is A Bit Of A Quirk. If You Have An Automatic Tranny The OD Should Be Automatic. But Yes They Would Be The Same, Or Per se. The Same Principle

2004-2006 is 180*-210*

2006-2012 is 194*-230*

GM changed the tstat to 194* for ALL YEARS so if you have yours changed in a 2004-2006 it will be replaced with a 194* so your gauge will read above the half way mark

Drain the radiator. Remove the lower radiator hose from the motor. Unbolt the hose inlet, and remove the thermostat. Replace the thermostat and the inlet, the hose, and refill the radiator.
