you can purchase the mast, it comes with the nulon lead attached. remove the rubber seal from the top of the antenna and the retainer. turn on the radio and guide the mast from the antenna tube. check the legnth of the old nylon leader vs the new one. in the old one is shorter, some pieces are in the antenna housing. if so, then the antenna has to come out, sort of difficult with the muffler in the way. once out and unplugged take the side cover off and remove the pieces of the old leader, replace cover and reinstall the antenna. don't put the upper retainer on. plug in the antenna and guide the leader down the tube until you feel resistance. turn of the radio and let theleader pull in. align the mast and leader as it goes in the tube and let go all the way in. put the retainer on and then the seal and anything else that was removed. good luck

Stay away from the 1968 which had several quality issues and is considered the worst Vette built. The 1975-77 were poor performers due to emissions standards. The 1983 is also another Vette I would avoid. There were no 1983s, I think you mean 84s cause that cross-fire injection is garbage. The 1982 model was cross-fire injected as well.

I dont believe there is any adjustment a late model corvette. I do know with any convertible they will shrink if left down for a while and expand in high heat while up. put your top up in the evenings if your having problems latching it in the morning. if it puffs up in 95 + degrees it will relax when it cools.

Remove the wiring harness from the bottom of your 1987 Buick Regal power antenna. Remove the power antenna retaining nuts. The power antenna will come off. Reverse the process to install the new power antenna.

Assuming your car is a coupe (targa-top), taking the top off is as easy as removing 4 TORX bolts from the roof panel.



There are 2 bolts in the front of the panel, each under the sun visors. (they get loosened but never come out)

There's usually two or three fusible link wires that bolt to the same post the positive battery cable bolts to on the starter, they are usually bundled together into one or perhaps two round eye connectors, this is not a normal fuse but a wire that is made to burn out in the event of a short. You can tell if one is burned out by grabbing it and tugging on it, if it feels springy and/or pulls apart because the wire inside the insulation is gone, broken, or burnt out then that fusible link is blown and needs to be replaced. You can buy fusible link wire to replace it with, don't use just plain old copper stranded wire. You'll have to find out where the short is or it will burn up the new fusible link wire -- assuming that is the problem to begin with, which it may not be.

take off the belt, use a pulley puller to pull it then reinstall.

most techs have a professional kit to enter a locked car. if you know about your electrical system you could jack car up,using a safety jackstand using a external 12 volt battery and jump cables send positive power to starter battery lead and the other to a metal ground on the chassis this should feed system enough to pop power locks,dont start it like this

This is easy. All you need is a Philips head screw driver. There are two screws at the bottom of the plastic lense. unscrew them and gently pull the entire assembly out. Then you can turn the bulb connectors on the inside to release the bulb and replace it. Sometime the connectors are tough or stuck, but they twist about 90 degrees and then release. Then reassemble.

It is located on the passenger side firewall next to the fuel pump relay
