If the window is loose and can be moved up and down by hand it may have become disconnected from the track along the bottom of it (though it is secured pretty well.) Buy a GM door panel removal tool, about $10 in a auto parts store, remove the window and mirror switch panels from the door along with the two screws under the window switch panel. Start tp pry the door from the bottom working your way around, you'll find plastic anchors holding the door panel to the door that the tool fits around to access the cut outs to see why it is fallen.

I did some searching on the internet for the same thing ,headlight aiming on my 2003 Impala. I found out there are no horizontal aiming screws (thanks GM) and the vertical ones are the screws on the top of the headlamp assembly. Just pop your hood and you should see those vertical screws no problem.

Most vhicles you have to take the coolant hose off that leads into the engine block and replace the disc that`s under the housing. Above is correct - but to elaborate - you'll probably see a rounded bulbous housing with 2 or 3 nuts attaching it to the engine. under this is a very simple heat activated coil that makes a little door/valve go up or down to open and close the flow. It is very easy to replace. you generally need to get a new gasket for the meeting between this housing and the engine. it is also veru inexpensive ( a few dollars). They come in different temperatures. The higher the temperature, the later it opens to provide engine cooling, allowing the engine to run warmer. Not uncommon to change from a high temp one in winter to a lower one, (hoter external temps mean you want the engine to cool faster/more), in the summer.

The 2000 Buick Century door panel is held in place with for retaining bolts and 10 retaining clips. Remove the retaining bolts and pry outward on the retaining clips.

first off buy a motor for it, they run about 125 bucks new from an auto store(at least in my area)

the motor for the wipers (from my understanding) is located by the fire wall, so you have to take apart your dash board to get to it. painful yes, but a mechanic would cost 500$. oh btw this is for a 2001 impala.

THis guy is an idiot,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the wiper motor is under the cover right by the windshield on the drivers side.........this nimrod has you taking the entire dash out..........take the wiper blades off, remove the black cover, undoe 3 screws to loosen the entire drive train, nock the splined motor off the drive,undoe 3 or 4 torx head bolts to drop the wiper motor, unplug it and wiggle it out.

Not much help on the Question, but if you start on the front by pulling the wires off, and put the sparkplug wrench over the plug and turn counter clockwise you will have a idea how to do the other side......good luck Phil

The Chevrolet Chevy Impala has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See sources and related links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.

One could go online to look for parts for a 1965 Impala. One could also go to nearby junk or salvage yards, being that this particular model is so old. Local auto shops that specialize in restoring old cars could also be a good start.

You're asking for the difference between the 7th generation Impala Base and Impala LS. Differences are in the looks, engines, and options.

Looks: Different front bumpers - LS has the fog lights while Base does not. Spoiler - LS comes with a spoiler, Base does not. Wheels - LS usually comes with alloys, Base is usually had with the hub caps. Interior - Options are different. Also, the Gear leaver is in the middle for the LS while it is on the steering wheels on the Base.

Engines: Engine size/type - Base came with the V6 3.4 liter, while LS came with the 3.8 liter V6. Power and torque - Base produces 180hp and 205ft.lbs, while LS makes 200hp and 220ft.lbs. Gas consumption - Base will do an average of 22MPG (19 city, 29 hwy) and the LS will do an average of 20 (17 city, 27hwy). LS is a lot heavier than the Base, which does not help its gas consumption. Speed - Base will do 0-60 in 7.9 seconds est., while the LS can do its in 7.6 seconds. That is, if they are equipped with the transmissions with the higher gear ratios. Reliability - Both are very reliable, and both suffer from the intake manifold gasket failure and need it replaced. The 3.8 liter however, has proven to be more reliable. It has a lot more room for tuning as well.

Options: Heated seats - LS standard.

Leather seats - LS standard, optional on the Base Steering wheel sound controls - LS standard. Tachometer - LS standard, optional on base.

Conclusion: If you are looking for a more luxury car, have the extra money and you don't mind if it consumes more gas, go with the LS. Impala LS is actually pretty efficient for the 200hp it offers.

If you are looking for a more basic car, save up your extra money and get the base. The base offers the same quite and comfortable ride, it is almost as fast, almost and powerful, and just as beautiful as the LS. It is exceptionally efficient with 29mpg highway while offering 180hp.

I own a 2003 Impala Base, and I do recommend it. I also recommend that if you don't mind the gas mileage and the higher price, go with the LS model, or better yet, the SS model.

You need to take it to a repair and have then scan the system for codes and diagnosis it. It could be as simple as dirt on a sensor.
