6.45 US qts total ( rebuild trans and replace TC), 3.2 qts if you drop the pan and replace the filter, 2.8 qts if you just drain the pan.

It depends on the year of the car.

If you have a 3.1L 1994 & older with the coil packs under the front exhaust manifold. Front cylinders are 2-4-6, back cylinders are 1-3-5. coil packs left to right are 1-4-6-3-2-5.

If you have a 3.1L 1995 & newer with the coil packs on top of the engine. Front cylinders are 2-4-6, back cylinders are 1-3-5. coil packs left to right are 5-2-3-6-4-1

Should be under the vehicle along the frame- follow the fuel line from the tank

What you describe is possible. Worn fuel pumps often make more noise as the internal workings start to rattle around. Check the fuel pressure using a fuel gauge. That will tell you what you need to know. Anything else is just a guess.

To reset "CHANGE OIL SOON" light, turn the ignition switch to the run position without starting the engine. Fully depress and release the accelerator 3 times within 5 seconds. The light will blink and go out... RDavis Cola, SC

If you are facing the car, follow the upper radiaor hose, on the right hand side. You will come tothe aluminum thermostat housing. It is a beast to get to the two bolts that hold the housing to the engine. It looks like I'm going to have to remove the rear exhaust manifold to access it completely.

6 cyl.? Look at the lower rear end of the engine.

GM vehicles do not have a fuel cut off switch.

Not without strut lift and cutting up the quarters and fenders. Also if the offset is correct (30mm or higher) when you turn you will hit subframe losing full turning, if you choose a lower offset, you will get your turns but it will have that nasty rim poke.

What is the question?

There is no reset, the there is a problem with something the computer is coding for a reason. If you are thinking it is an "idiot" light there is no such thing. Have the engine trouble tested at your local auto parts this can usually determine the problem.

a number of things could be the cause of this. These particular transmissions are known for stripping out the 4th gear clutch hub. However a simple electric shift solenoid may be the culprit. I recommend taking it you a local repair shop and have it professionally diagnosed.

It is quite easy to install the 1992 Chevy Lumina brake light switch. The brake light switch simply plugs in and out.

Should be the dial right in the center of the dashboard, the one that says "MPH" on it

Remove the inside door panel of your 1997 Chevy Lumina. Remove the linkage to the window crank. Remove the window crank retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new window crank.

Undo each end and replace with new. However, it really depends on if you're dealing with the high pressure side or the low pressure side. In the video below, I will show you how to flush the power steering system and install an in-line power steering fluid filter to extend system longevity. In the process, I will remove one section of hose and install a new hose (with a filter) it its place.

If standing in front of the car look in space after fans and before engine it is a round cylinder shaped part at bottom of engine. it has cable running to battery. hard to miss

On my 1990 Euro it sits right on top of the engine at the firewall, passenger side. There should be 3, possibly 4 bolts to remove it. 1 is in the back of the alternator, (10mm) and the other 2 or 3 are toward the bottom on the block in the front. All are easy to get to. Also, be sure to remove the wires from the back and the remove the plug. It would be a VERY good idea to disconnect the negative battery cable also! It's not a hard job. You can probably do it in less than an hour eaisly. And that's taking the old one off and installing the new one! I have had to do this a few times when I change the 3 back spark plugs!! So I have gotten really good at it. LOL I can change my alternator in about 30 minutes! LOL Hope this helps.

your best bet is to go to your local mechanic and ask him to print you out the diagram from a program called "all-data". he will probably charge you like $20-$50 because the program is not free.

You will need to remove the cylinder head from your Chevy Lumina engine. Remove the head gasket and clean the surface. Put the new head gasket on and return the cylinder had to its original position.

On my Chevy lumina it is located right by the gas take on the right side of the car.
