Almost all GM vehicles come with an altinator that has a "built in" voltage regulator. Unless you are familiar with rebuilding GM type altinators(sp) I would just consider having it tested to determine if it's truly bad or possibly another issue.

right behind the headlight you reach in and twist the light out its a tight squeese but it can be done. be sure when you put the new light in not to touch the light its self.put the light back in, in the opposite direction it was removed

Right behind your brake rotor mounted on a dust shield. It comes as the sensor and shield with wires from General Motors. The left side IS different from the right. is there more than one vss

It's possible you'd need to purge the air in the system. Easiest way is to start the car and turn the heater to the hottest setting. Let the car run until fully warm with the radiator cap off. Let the car cool completely off and top off the coolant. Depending on how low the system is you may need to do this a couple of times.

"low coolant? sensor location, NOT "engine temperature" sensor location is of passenger side of radiator tank. remove headlamp assembly for a direct visual on sensor. it is a black plastic square on side of radiator lower than the upper radiator hose inlet. has a two wire connector

If there 16" 225/60/16

It the noises are a banging noise like a back fire, it is an indication of the timing slipping and the engine doesn't know when to fire. If the noises are more mechanical then there could be an internal problem. Check all fluids to insure that they are the right colors and aren't milky or frothy. This would indicate severe internal engine problems.

If by clip you mean the "shoe" that is the shiney square piece of metal that is in the mirror holder it slides out of the holder with prying by a screwdriver. Be careful not to hurt yourself.

Have system evacuated and charged system is clogged up

70 lb/ft torque. Just start in the middle and work your way to both ends all at the same time. Start with 10 lb/ft and slowly work up to 70 lb/ft. It will take several sequences to do it properly.

use a 3/8 drive ratchet to loosen the tension and take your belt off.Then unbolt the center bolt of the tension assembly and replace with a new unit.

NOTE the bearing goes between the press tool and the clutch.

The spark plug gap for a 1998 Chevy Lumina (with 3.1L or 3.8L engine) is .060".

Had a similar problem on a different type vehicle. Turned out to be the dimmer switch.

Your owner's manual will have that info...my '97 chev lumina 3.1 holds 61 litres...according to the manual...

if you dont have any oil in the cars motor that would be a reasin why its knocking
