AnswerI HAVE A 93 APV AND THE FLASTER IS BY THE PASSENGER SIDE UNDER THE GLOVE COMPARTMENTREMOVE THE SCREW HOLDING THE COVER AND YOU WILL SEE THE FLASHER AnswerI have a 1993 Chevy lumina euro and the turn signals quit on me.are there two signals flasher. I found one on the passenger side,it still didn;t fix the promblem, e verything else works on the car but the turn signals.help AnswerYes there are indeed two flashers. The one on the passenger side is for the hazard lights on the 1993 Lumina Euro. The other flasher is located on the drivers side underneath the dash. Once you get the panel off on the underside of the driver's side it will be on the right hand side (toward the center but before the shifter), it's cradled in a holster that was a pain for me to get out of. Good luck. Shouldn't take too long to do.How do you remove the wheel cylinders on a 1995 Chevy Lumina?

Sounds like the rod inside the door has come loose. They are usually snapped in using plastic clips and the clips break after they get old. You'll need to pull the inside door panel and fix whatever has come loose.
--I discovered that is one common problem, but in this case the spring which reset the latch to the "closed door handle" position had broken, leaving the lock thinking the door handle was constantly being pulled, preventing the unlock button from working. I pulled the inside door panel (no mean feat when you cannot open the door) and got the lock out before I realized that little spring was a problem. The mechanism is $130 from a dealership and about $60 from automotive stores.

TRY TURNING THE EMERGENCY FLASHERS ON AND OFF A COUPLE TIMES THEN CHECK YOUR BRAKE LIGHTS. WORKED FOR ME.
Code 301 is cylinder # 1 misfire. You don't need to keep replacing coil packs until you find out why they are going bad. Now if you are buying these coils at a parts store that sells inferior foreign made parts, "can't say the name", then this may very well be the problem. If you know this is not the case, then take this to a technician that can see why they are going bad. The coils are going bad for a reason. Find that reason and problem solved.
Maybe you have a bad heater core and it's causing the ac to blow hot air in instead of blowing cold air inside your car that's what's wrong with my 91 Chevy Caprice and we put freon and checked it and it blows hot air like what you are saying i was told that it was something with the heater core so to my knowledge it sounds like the heater core is bad in your car or cars try replacing it or having someone replace it and see if that works it worked for me now i have cold air again hope i was able to help you with your question
Answercheck your airflow valves, also check the heater valve it could be stuck open, could even install a manual valve(s)It's probably not the alarm that's causing your problem. If you can get a volt meter, start the engine and connect the volt meter across the battery. When running, the battery voltage should be somewhere in the range of 13.5 to 14 V. Much less and you'll have trouble keeping the battery charged. Much more and you run the risk of destroying the battery and other electrical components. Alternators can drain the battery if one of the internal diodes fail. Also, a battery can be going bad if it's having trouble maintaining a charge. Guessing is never a good idea, since it ends up causing you to spend a lot more money replacing parts and you just end up "HOPING" that the problem is solved. If you test parts, you know when you've found one that fails. Take your vehicle to an auto parts retailer and see if they have an electrical system diagnostic machine. They can usually tell you exactly what's wrong and what to do to solve the problem. Yes, they want to sell you parts, but they also want your vehicle to run right when you're done so that you'll be pleased with your experience. If you can find one of their technicians that actually knows what he's talking about, you can end up figuring out exactly what's wrong. Try Auto Zone, Checker, Schuks, Kragen or whatever other auto parts retailer company that is local to you. don't disable the factory alarm system,it is not likely it's the alarm...when batteries go dead, and you jump the car to start it, the alarm will sound. check the charging system, and have the battery tested at a parts store(free at major chain parts stores) if you feel you must disconnect the alarm, be sure to remove all valuables from the vehicle when parked...that was a lame joke...but it felt good to type it... also, everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional manual available...in the reference section, you'll have to make copies of the important sections...good luck :)
Does lumina have airbag on passenger side of the car?
Depends on the year which you fail to list. Look on the passenger side of the dash for the letters SRS. If there is an air bag you will see SRS written on the location of the air bag.

Chevy lumina still runs rough after plug change and wires changed?
I have a 91 Chevy Lumina and it possibly died today after runnning roughly for several months. I am no mechanic at all, but it did help when I started: 1. Using Premium gas, 2. Had the Jiffy Lube special fuel injector cleaning ($50), 3. Have used STP (red bottle) w/every fourth fill-up (approx.), and I believe a mechanic cleaned the fuel injection system by hand (????). Anyway, I have had lots of troubles, but by the Lord's grace have not been in an accident. It used to die when I slowed down and turned corners, or even when I just slowed down. That is, before I had all the fuel injection cleaning, etc. and began running Premium (another Providential blessing because I didn't go, "Oh, hey, it needs this..). I think it mine has a fuel/pressure issue or broken fuel sensor (???). When the tank is full, it acts better and vice versa. Until today, when it's just pooped out. I had the battery jumped, which helped until I got home; now, I may need it jumped again. That may have nothing to do with the above, only the battery, of course. Anyway, God bless.
