There is no minimum speed. If you hit the censor with anything it could go off.Also there is many other ways of setting them off such as static.If you contact GM they could probably tell you all ways.I had a ford mustang in the shop at our dealership,we removed the airbag to repair the turn signal swith,I set the airbag on the work bench about 10 feet from the brake lath and it blew up about 5 minutes later.I called our ford help line and they said it was the static from the brake lathe that caused it.My only suggestion to you is just be extremely careful. Airbags deploy based on info received from various sensors in the car, not speed.

yes its because the tracker weighs almost 3000lbs but not quite that much, the solution to not rolling your tracker over, is SLOW DOWN. its not the steering your truck is just too light and you can lift it off the ground going too fast. trust me i know from experience.

If you are too stupid to know what form oe the word "brake" to use, i would recommend taking your car to a repair shop.

First, roll back the rubber weather guard around the bulb port on the back of the headlight casing. Second, release the retainer "wire" by pushing down then back (toward the engine) on the side of the retainer closest to the radiator. Third, pull the bulb, weather guard, and wiring back and out of the casing. Fourth, hold the plug on the wiring and pull the bulb out. Replace with new bulb being careful not to get any grease, dirt, or "skin oil" on the glass of the bulb. A paper towel or nitrile gloves will help. Reverse steps to install. Check operation before driving.

The 1999 - 2004 trackers have a light sensor on top of the dash. When it is daylight the running lights stay off, as it gets darker, the come on. There is no switch to shut them off completely (GM improved this on later vehicles, like the uplander and trailblazer, where you can shut them off) The way I did it on those occasions where you REALLY need to have the lights off, is buy a small flashlight and tape it over the sensor. Turn on the flshlight and the lights go off, it looks stupid, but it works. I never bothered to figure out if there was an electrical fuse or switch to do the same job... too time consuming. the sensor is located on the top of the dash on the passenger side, near the windshield.. I deliver newspapers with my Tracker, so I drive on the wrong side of the road, against traffic at 3-6am. I have discovered a great way to completely shutoff the headlamps so I don't confuse oncoming traffic.. Remove the light sensor from the top of the dash. On my '02 Tracker, it is on top of the dash, a few inches from the base of the windshield, all the way on the passenger side. Secure the cable so it doesn't get lost in the hole that is left in case you want to put the sensor back later. Your daytime running lamps will still stay on. This is about 80% power. To get them to shine at 100% power, turn your switch to the ON position. Now to turn off the lights at night, just pull up the emergency brake lever ONE CLICK. Make sure your vehicle has no friction before using this tactic while driving! It takes quite a few clicks on my vehicle to actually engage the brake. When the e-brake is at the first click, the headlamp switch will work like you would expect on any car. Keep in mind that the red BRAKE lamp will be illuminated when you do this, but again, there shouldn't be any friction from your brake at all at just one click.

You have to remove the center console, which you can get directions for in a Haynes manual. You can order the bulb itself online from several parts stores. It isn't a bad job if you're handy with tools. They sell kits at most stores there are Helicoils and then solid inserts, all you do is tap the hole, out in the insert and then the spark plug. A tip to doing this, make sure the tap you get has vertical ridges for grease so the pieces are not falling in. Use a shop vac and vaccum out the debri from it as well. I would, first, get a repair manual and then follow the directions in the book. If you don't do it right, you're in REAL trouble.

If it's like a 1996 tracker the headlights won't come on unless the parking brake is released or the light switch is on.

I had the same problem with my t&c, if you have the digital dash look and see if the odometer lights up when cranking. if not i swift pound on the dash right above the gauges usually works. (I found that on another help site and it worked for me)

how about checking to see if you need a new thermostat in your radiator for the first step, also make sure you have plenty of radiator fluid, also you may need an oil change, this includes your oil filter, also could be due time for a tune up, belts, as well as all other filters could cause problems in your vehicle. but if your engine is dying after its hot and okay after cooling for a few its most likely a radiator/thermostat problem.

Press the set button one time. Then to set the hour you press the seek back button to adjust. For the minutes side, you would press seek forward. Then when done press Set again.

I don't know what a thermal flasher is.

where is the location for the radio fuse in a 2001 Chevy tracker

I would immediately check the oil level. If you find that it is not low of oil, immediately replace the filter with a new name brand filter. AC/Delco would be my choice in this vehicle. If that does not help, replace the oil pressure sending unit.
