I have an 89 G 20 and the computer is under the drivers seat. Try following the big bunch of wires at the back of the engine and see if they go there. My 1984 G20 has it under the driver's seat. 1983 may be the same.

95% of the time (or more), the problem you describe it caused by the Fuel Level Sensor, which is mounted on the fuel pump assembly. This assembly is mounted inside the fuel tank (at the top), so the tank will have to be drained and removed to replace the sensor. The 'good news' is that the sensor can often be replaced separately from the entire assembly, so it is possible to keep the cost down, at least a little.

Whatever it takes to fill it up. Park the van on a level surface, drain the oil and change the filter. Add 4.5 quarts and start the engine. Let run for 45 seconds, and then shut down. Wait 45 minutes and check the level. Add enough oil to fill it up to the full mark. You now know how much it requires.

you replace the door panel or buy armrest covers that go over the existing ones. This will cost you less and address the concern.

According to my Haynes repair manual 1991 through 1994 Ford Explorers have a 15 amp fuse in location # 17 for the fuel gauge looking at the schematic.
There is supposed to be one. Automotive systems are fully fused (everything has a fuse) except the main starter motor.

The top radiator hose connects to the engine through the thermostat housing. Remove the radiator hose from the housing, remove the two bolts that hold the housing to the block, remove the thermostat from the housing, clean the housing and the block, put a new thermostat in (following the directions for orientation as specified by the box with the spring assembly TOWARD the engine.) Then after you have re-installed the thermostat housing and the radiator hose, add coolant and be on your way. While you're at it, check the radiator and heater hoses for brittle rubber or bulging spots and replace the hose if there is any evidence of damage.

Common is not a term I would use! Commonly, all gears work.

The problem is a common indicator of a substantial failure occurring in the transmission: Bad synchro mesh in manual trans., convertor or more in automatics. If an automatic don't be suprised if it soon begins to slip/hesitate into forward gears, and shortly after hearing a bang..doesn't go that way either.

Need to hook up a oil pressure gauge in the place were the oil sending unit is on the engine and see what the gauge reads, You should have no less then 20 LBS. at a idle. If it does not have oil pressure then pump is bad.

With the driver door closed, hold down the power unlock button on the door

panel.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

Release the power unlock button on the door panel. The remote control door

lock receiver will respond in the following manner in order to indicate that

the receiver is in the programming mode:

Locking the doors

Unlocking the doors

Important

All extra transmitters must be programmed at this time. When a new

transmitter is programmed, the old transmitters will be deactivated.

Hold down the lock and unlock buttons on the transmitter until the remote

control door lock receiver will respond in the following manner:

Locking the doors.

Unlocking the doors.

Repeat step 7 for each additional transmitter.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position in order to exit the transmitter

programming mode.

In order to reprogram the remote control door lock transmitter with a scan

tool, refer to Scan Tool instructions.

Memory Seat Recall Programming

Adjust the driver seat to the desired position.

Press the switch labeled SET. A chime confirmation will be heard.

Press the desired position switch labeled 1 or 2. Within 5 seconds from

pressing the SET switch, a chime confirmation will be heard.

Press the UNLOCK button on the desired transmitter (key fob) within 5

seconds from pressing the SET switch. A chime confirmation will be heard.

The transmitter (key fob) is now programmed with the desired position

switch. Pressing the transmitter UNLOCK button will cause a recall request

to be initiated and the seat will adjust to position 1 or 2.

The stored memory positions may be changed without having to reprogram the

transmitter.

The transmitter feature is available in all ignition positions.

Memory Seat Recall Unprogramming

Press the switch labeled SET. A chime confirmation will be heard.

Press the UNLOCK button on the transmitter (key fob) within 5 seconds from

pressing the SET switch.

Do not press any memory switch or power adjustment for 5 seconds. Pressing a

switch will cancel the unprogramming event and the transmitter will remain

programmed.

The transmitter (key fob) is now unprogrammed and pressing the UNLOCK button

will not effect memory seat operation.

No chime confirmation will be heard when the UNLOCK button is pressed if the

transmitter is unprogrammed.

You would have to have the engine and transmission wiring harness and fuel pump harness. And you would have to install an electric fuel pump that will pump No lower then 9 LBS. and NO higher then 13 LBS. in the fuel tank.

You will also have to get and install a ECM / ENGINE CONTROL MODULE / COMPUTER IN THE TRUCK.

Basically you will need alll the ELECTRONICS FROM the 1994 and install all of it in the 85 truck and you will have a NICE ride. GOOD LUCK

step 1 take off the lead. step 2 find a socket that will fit. step 3 get a life!!!!!!

It sounds as if you have a large motorhome. I would STRONGLY recommend you keep the bud wheels. The wheel studs from a medium duty hub will not handle the weight and stress of turning.

Not positive but some models of Chevy a bad oil pressure switch will cause the fuel pump to run all the time and run down the battery and also cause a safety hazard if you are in a accident and the fuel line is broken it would pump until the tank is dry or battery goes dead.

I have a 2003 and I'm assuming its the same. Open the rear cargo door. You will see the nuts holding on the lamp assembly and the plastic trim parts. Remove the nuts, then the tail light assembly. There are 2 bulbs, unscrew the plug from the assembly and remove the bulb.

it has to be out of a van because the Axel housing in a van is longer than any other vehicle Even trucks.
