all you have to do is spend money,battery is good you dont see any flour deposits its not 5 years old then if its buy a good brand battery if it clicks starter change. starter

easy if you have put power to clutch from battery and system is in vacuum and centure of clutch is turning with the motor in means to say your valve plate is dead in side compressor.

The coil has two bolts to hold it in position. Loosen both bolts, place a .010 - .014 feeler gauge (or business card) between the coil and flywheel, and tighten bolts. The size of the gap determines the timing of the engine.

You don't say symptoms or how/when occurred (pre/post crash/engine out/clutch change) etc Firstly, find out from your dealership service department what amount of movement of the slave cylinder actuator rod there should be. If yours matches, hydraulic system fine. If movement too short then check behind clutch pedal and end of slave cylinder for leaks, check metal and flexible hose for damage. If slave cylinder actuator slow to return or clutch pedal very hard to press then flexihose could have internal collapse. If new clutch fitted, in rare cases can cause master cylinder rubbers to fail

Some where between 800 and 1700 dollars depending on if you plan to do it yourself or have a mechanich do it. You might get luck at a junk yard for a clutch but if you do your lucky. You would be better of buying a high performance clutch. Here is a number to a dodge discount parts store you should be able to get a new clutch kit from them for about 300 dollars. which is gonna be better than you find anywhere out in town. the number is 1-800-814-8248. Bleed the clutch line that runs from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder utilizing the bleed valve on the slave cylinder.

Here is advice: * Blown fuse or possibly the blower must also be turned on. * i would check the fuse for a/c . failing this i would test the switchin car , then check wiring at compressor

You need your clutch damper,it regulates how much pressure is applied to your operating cylinder.

yes, behind the clutch pedal there's a push rod with a 12mm nut on it, loosen the nut and twist the rod until you get the desired clutch engagment.

read the instruction manual in the book. or hold the clutch button down while u change gears. pretty simple

hold the clutch lever in, rev the bike a little bit, then slowly release the lever until you start to move a little bit. when you want to shift, either mash the gears or i guess you could pull the clutch lever , shift into another gear, then release slowly.

bad flywheel can be caused by incorrectly adjusted clutch. in correct use od clutch,9such as riding clutch).can also be caused by a worn clutch not being replaced before it damages flywheel. one other problem with a flywjheel can be the ring gear worn or missing teeth, this is usually caused by a starter motoer being installed that does not match the flywheel properly

The short story: remove shift linkage. Remove axles. Remove transmission (engine stays in car). replace clutch.

You must have a manual to do this job, or it will not work. Even mechanics who do this job will work from a book.

Have you tried consulting a 'Haynes' manual? You can get 'em from Halfords and they are specific to each car. Also, this is a tough job. Even with the manual it'll take you a few hours and you need the right tools and parts. If you still want to do it yourself just watch out when removing the clutch components as wear to the clutch parts causes dust which may contain asbestos in the older cars. And i don't need to tell you that you DON'T want to be breathing that stuff in. Just to get to the clutch you need to remove the transmission, which in itself is a mission (no pun intended). For that you need to jack up the front of the car with a trolley jack and NOT a normal jack found in your boot! Most people dont have these. You also need to drain the transmission fluid and remove the starter motor and a load of other stuff which is all major effort so seriously, get someone who knows what they're doing to do it. It does cost around 700 of your hard earned pounds to replace the clutch but it is worth the money. The parts themselves probably cost half that but you need serious experience and patience to do it yourself. Further Information half way through changing one myself. Worst problem are 8mm hexagon/Allen bolts that hold gearbox to engine. They have become rounded. Removal of right hand drive shaft also a problem as not able to move it outwards from the intermediate bearing. A Haynes manual is a must but even that relies on photographs rather than exploded drawings as they used to have.

Look for information on 1999 Ford Ranger 3.0L as well. (Same vehichle.)

Take it to an authorized Yamaha mechanic. This is a tricky proceedure that should not be undertaken by a backyard do-it-yourselfer.

You Can Rotate The Engine By Turning The Harmonic Balancer, ( Crankshaft Pully Mounts On It ) By Using A Socket And Extension That Fits The Nut Holding The Balancer On It Will Be Rather Large Maybe 1 &1/2 Inch Or More. You Can (maybe hold the fan belt tight enough & turn the engine this way. Before I Did All This I Would Make Sure Its The Ring Gear & Not The Starter Drive. Good Luck

the slave is totally hydrolic on the 240's and you might be getting air in the lines so I would try bleeding the system... the slave has a bleeder screw on it. pump the clutch pedal 4-5 times and hold it to the bottom. Then let the screw on the slave loose and tighten it back. repeat this util there is a strong stream of fluid that flows from the bleeder... Also make sure you are not making things worse by letting the air in throught he master. IT MUST HAVE FLUID AT ALL TIMES DURING THIS PROCESS or it won't work. If the problem persists make sure your master is good by listening for any hissing after the clutch is pressed in or pumped. If it hisses it most likely has a bad seal. otherwise try replacing the slave.
