-Turn off the PS3
-Turn the button at the back of PS3 to "off"
-Unplug anything connected to the back of my PS3
-Wait about 15 mins
-Reconnect everything
-Switch the power button at the back of PS3 "on"
-Turn on the PS3(the touch button)
-Press the PS3 button/ Plug in the controller to the PS3 using the USB via connector
If this doesn't work, call Sony. May need repair or something. Do not take it apart yourself unless you know EVERYTHING about fixing things.
