Which war did the US fight in southeast Asia in the 1960s and the 1970s?
North Vietnam=Air War
South Vietnam=Ground & Riverine War
There are two viable answers:
Jordan: In 1970/1971 The P.L.O actually tried to overthrow King Hussein of Jordan. This bought about a war in Jordan (called Black September) that ended with the P.L.O being expelled from that country and 15,000 Palestinian deaths.
Lebanon: The Lebanese Civil War began in 1975 as the PLO had turned Southern Lebanon into its own micro-country and repressed the endemic Shiite Lebanese population. This Palestinian violence towards the Lebanese Shiites was one of many reasons why the Lebanese Civil War (1975-1991) broke out.

Why was the black panther party the number one threat to nation security in the US?
It is unlikely that the Black Panther Party was ever the top threat to national security. There were, however, many people in power who were quite afraid of African Americans showing an independent spirit or presenting a united political front. The biggest threat to national security came from the Soviet Union, instability in Europe, and the war in Vietnam. Finally, financial chaos (as a result of overspending on the war and Great Society) presented a tremendous challenge.

Why did the US become increasingly involved in the Vietnam War into the 1970's?
President Nixon was a hard core (tough) man. He had lost his first election bid for the presidency in 1960 to John F. Kennedy, mainly because, on the world's first televised presidential debate, in black & white TV of course, in those days, people (voters) commented on his "shadow, from lack of shaving." Appearance counts alot with human beings. Among other reasons, he lost the presidential election. Always fighting to get what he wanted, he finally gains the white house nearly ten years later. Fighting and losing, but NEVER giving up, became his trademark. But it also HARDENED him! The famous WWII US Air Force General, GEN Curtis LeMay had just recently retired from the Air Force in 1965. But kept in touch with presidents, as most GENERALS & ADMIRALS do. GEN Lemay, in discussing North Vietnam, stated, "...bomb them back into the STONE AGE!" Lemay & Nixon were both cut from the same cloth. That statement meant the "B-52's" (Stratofortress). Nixon would pull the US out of Vietnam alright. Just as he promised during his election campaign. But in the process, he was going to try to bring the north to their knees. Nixon ordered ground invasions into Cambodia & Laos (1970-1971), something no other president dared to do. He then ordered his favorite weapon, the B-52, to pound North Vietnam, including the harbors and the capital (with orders not to bomb the presidential buildings) in two air campaigns; Linebacker & Linebacker II (Nixon was a football fan), the latter air campaign was to be a "maximum effort" aerial bombing, and was dubbed the "Christmas bombing" by the press, as it happened near Christmas time. Again, no other president dared use B-52's to bomb those areas. When US ground forces began to re-deploy home, the B-52's where used everytime the NVA used conventional ground forces (tanks) to invade the south; up until 1973. When Nixon's B-52's left South Vietnam for good, in 1973, the north regrouped, and came down again in '75 with tanks & artillery...and won the war.

Why did Nixon bug the Democratic headquarters?
By many accounts, Mr. Nixon was determined to do whatever it took to stay in power, even if that meant bending the rules (or breaking them). He always wanted to know what his political opponents, the Democrats, were up to, and rather than gather opposition research the way most politicians did, he decided to send some Republican operatives to spy on the Democrats by bugging their headquarters with listening devices. To this day, we don't know exactly what Mr. Nixon expected to find (or what specifically he was looking for). But we do know he thought spying on the Democrats would give him some kind of edge and help him to have a political advantage.

What did the poison prevention packaging act of 1970 address and create?
The Poison Prevention Packaging Act of 1970 (PPPA) was mostly initiated by accidental poisonings of young children. Unfortunately companies made child aspirin more child friendly, as in they'd like it more. Children were eating the candies (aspirin) to an extent that it took their lives. This problem grew to a level that our reactionary government did something about it. They passed the PPPA to protect children and have seen reasonable successes.

How much is a 1789 two headed George Washington coin?
Chances are this coin is a fake. I assume by two headed you mean that these is a head and a head, as opposed to heads and tails. This is something that was most likely done after the minting of the coin, where halves of two coins were put together as one. Check the edge of the coin for a small seam running along it.
Also the U.S. government didn't issue any coins bearing the likeness of Washington until much, much later. There were colonial and private issues in the 1780s with Washington's portrait, but it is very unlikely that this one is real. Since it was altered by someone into a two headed piece, I would assume the coin itself was never legitimate. A couple of pictures (each side and the edge maybe) would be very helpful in resolving this one. But I'm going to go ahead and say I am 99% positive that what you have is not a real coin.
