Yes, pull the fuse.
How do you remove tumbler on 2000 Saturn when cannot turn key?
If you can't turn the keyy you are in a bind Try tapping the end of the key with a small hammer and jiggling the key at the same time. If that doesn't work you will need to try a new key If that doesn't work you will need the whole housing and wilkl have to get your passlock reprogrammed Note: If this is an S series the housing is most likely loose on the steering column ( Jiggle the wiper lever up/down If the signal lever on the other side moves as well it's faulty and is the cause of your key not turning)Then you need to replace both cylinder and housing regardless if you get it to turn

How do you change the lift supports on the dutch door of a GM safari van?
Have someone support the door while you take a thin flat screwdriver and pry the metal clips off of the ends of the old support. Once the clips are off, the old support will pop off. The new one is just pressed into place with the clips on.
Why will a 1993 dodge caravan start sometimes and wont start a other times?
Your 1993 Dodge Caravan might start sometimes and not start other times because of a bad starter or solenoid. You might also have a weak battery or a charging system that is not working correctly. This could also be an issue with the distributor.
Costco put on the wrong size tire on my truck What damage will this do to the truck's differential?
If both rear tires are the same size, your differential will not suffer, but your speedometer may not be accurate and your gear ratios will not be what they were designed to be, so that could cause strain on the transmission ( and clutch, if you have a clutch.)
If the rear tires are not the same size, that would make the differential turn on the straightway as if you were constantly turning a corner.
---I'm sorry but whoever put this answer doesnt know what they were talking about (No offense meant). You'd probably know if they put different size tires on as your truck would be sitting cockeyed. And if the tires are just the same different size than it will NOT do any damage, your speedometer will just be incorrect. The differential and tranny will run exactly the same no matter what size tire you put on, you will just need to recalibrate your speedometer if you want it to be correct (if you dont care and can figure out how fast you're goin, I wouldn't bother).

How do you change battery cables on a Dodge Caravan?
Unhook the Caravan cables at the battery. one at a time, follow the cable to the other end, paying attention to the routing. Disconnect the other end, pull the cable out, then route the new cable the same way. Connect the end away from the battery. Repeat for the other cable, then hook back up to the battery.
A bad ball joint or tie rod end.
How do you remove the alternator mounting bracket on a 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan?
There it is, "remove alternator mount bracket" with no advice on how to do it. Turns out there is a nut on the bottom inside that attaches to a bolt that is part of the Belt tensioner that goes through the bottom hole. I had to push the alternator all the way to the right to get to it. That is in addition to the other three bolts. I got the bracket off and the alternator out. Have to wait till tomorrow for someone to order the 120A alternator.
The tensioner came off (only held by that one bolt). I hope it goes back O.K. Will try to post an edit tomorrow (7/3/06).
Put it all back together. Worked well. Don't hook the alternater up until ready to bolt back (after mounting bracket). Tensioner went back with no problems. Had to move alternator to far right to get nut started and finger tight on tensioner bolt. Then moved to far left to tighten with 15mm wrench a tiny bit at a time. Good luck and have fun. I did :)
UPDATE (8/16/07):
The impossible belt tensioner nut/bolt on the bottom of the alternator bracket does not need to be removed to extract the alternator. Repeat...step away from the nut.
As long as the rest of the alternator bracket is unbolted, you can rock the main bracket back and forth to free the alternator.
You will need to pop loose the windshield washer drain hose to make some more room for removal. Turn the alternator so that the pulley is facing toward you and its two bolt holes are in a vertical position. The alternator should pull right out with little effort.

How do you adjust the headlight beam located on a 1998 Dodge Caravan?
Hi about the headlight adjustment. I know on my 1988 caravan the adjustment screws face forward above and to the left of the lens. On the front of the van in the gap between the trim. gl.
There are 2 adjustment screws on each side one on the top one on the outside area. You should park in front of a wall, i usually go to a store at night park about 100 feet and align the lights so they point directly ahead of the vehicle and are level with it. If the light needs to go up tighten the top screw, if it has to go down loosen it. You may need to use some pressure with your hand when loosening it. If it has to go inward you would loosen the outside screws if it has to go the other way tighten it.

It is a resistor or a group of resisters used to control the flow or current in a circuit. Like the resistor block in a car controls the speed of the a/c blower.
Would a burnt flasher relay prevent a 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan from starting?
That would be very unlikely.
If the blower motor is not working, it is either a blown fuse, bad bower motor speed control, defective blower motor, or more than likely a bad blower motor resistor pack.
You can't, you have to replace the ignition switch
