The core is located behind the instrument panel. You have to remove the entire instrument panel to get to it. Once the instrument panel is removed you will need to remove the HVAC unit and then disassemble the unit, replace the core and reassemble everything in reverse order.

There are latches at the rear of the seat, on the right and left sides, keeping a claw grip on bars recessed into the floor. Once the latches have been pressed to release, the seat should tilt forward easily, allowing you to pull the entire seat out.
The front end of the seat has a pair of hooks which are engaged with small bars, but have no latches, so you should be able to pull the seat out with no further resistance. If the front hooks will not come out of the recesses in the front, there may be pieces of debris caught in the recesses. Explore with a thin tool to see if you can dislodge anything.

place your foot on the brake pedal,move your foot all the way to the left,your foot will now be against the kick pannel,DRIVERS SIDE KICK PANNEL' now mesure 12 inches above your foot and wraped in a crap load of electrical tape , taped top a bundle of wires you will find the starter relay on a 99 Saturn sl2 ,now you wont even see the plug because the whole think is wraped up in electrical tape,you will have to cut away ALL of the tape,,,so look for something that resembles a big wad of electrical tape,.....

**Correction** Yes, they are in the engine but on the side where the drivebelt(s) is/are located, certain components have to be removed then there is a cover on the side of the engine that contains the timing belt and components. It's not really INSIDE the engine, but it's a bit more complicated to access than the drivebelt which is in plain sight and not much is required to remove it.

first of all what kind of motor do you have? Either way your going to need a tack driver to boost the ground signal off of your electronic ingnition box to the remote starter. I've done this myself and it took a long time to figure it out but that's the only way I know 1998 Chevy Cavalier- Your tach wire is WHITE, at your PCM (Powertrain Control Module). 2.4L is white at PCM, and also the 2.2L is white at the PCM.
I had the same problem and ended up replacing the blower resistor and the blower motor. Although it could be one or the other .. mine was both.

If equipped it is under the dash on the passenger side. Look up under the glove box for a sliding access panel. The cabin filter is only found on vans with split zone temp control.
Same problem, feel the pain. So far we replaced the easy thing like the fuel sensors under the back seat. Made no difference, it would do the same thing. We are replacing the fuel pump, will keep you posted to let you know if that worked.
That was the only thing we could come up with when all sensors are working right, and the darn thing (pump) isn't working at all times. Usually if you are trying to start the car and it doesn't start you can open up the fuel tank lid and listen for the fuel pump running, if it isn't you can bet it is done for even if it starts going again after it decides to work again.
Truly frustrated with you, wait until you have to buy won,$$$.
had same problem .turned out to be my icm ,ignition control module
try this when your car dies ,pure a bottle of cold water on the coil pack .if it starts rite back up then your icm is overheating and is now heat sensitive ,so you have to replace it .
i had the same problem recently and well i replaced the fuel pump found it o e bay really cheap regular part shops have it for almost $300 but it was under $150 and then replaced my air boot the big hose that is connected to the engine and the air filter due to the fact that it had a little gap and a little too much air was getting into the engine.
It could also be water in the gas tank.
