Easy :) All you have to do is put your car up in the air, walk under it and you can see the connector just behind the front lower engine mount bracket. (driver's side)

I will be removing the mount and bracket, supporting the weight with a transmission jack, then removing the sensor.....

In 1996 all cars sold in the U.S. had to be made with what they call OBD2 (Onboard Diagnostics 2). This system cannot be checked by using the key, it can only be checked with an OBD2 scanner. Some auto partsstores like AutoZone and O'reill's will run these tests for free. sgi

On many newer cars it's by the tank. It will be in accessible location. It should either be there or in engine compartment. If need be, just follow the line.

the mix doors are broken inside the A/C control box. it,s a big job to repair and will include having the ac refrigerant pumped down , the coolant drained , the dashboard removed, then you can remove the ac box to repair the door. if you never did it count on 10 hours of work after the first time probably could do it in 6.

As another option, I used "Heater Treater" on my wife's Grand Cherokee and it works great. The only down side is that you will no longer have individual climate controls for Driver/Passenger side. The temp is set by the driver's side dials. However, it's a minor inconvenience for not having to pay $1,600 to get it fixed and it only took me about 45min to do. Worth it for me.

The water pump on a 3.0L is inside, driven by the timing belt.

It is inside the transmission, on the valve body. It is called the trs, transmission range sensor.

try open the ignition press the window switch down of the side that doesnt work n slam the door at the same time
