the standard 2.5 motor can use 5w30 during the winter and 5w30 or 10w30 during the summer. however if you have high mileage and have not changed the valve cover gasket and spark plug grommets use thicker oil to keep from fouling the plugs because those gasket wear faster than usual.

If its dropping RPM's when u turn ur AC on then u need to clean ur Mass Airflow Sensor which will be located on the intake. Use B12

The throttle position sensor is not adjustable.

Have the problem repaired and they will reset the light. Resetting the light without repairing the problem and it will just come back on. You reset it with an OBD2 scan tool.

Torque in this sequence: Torx and 15mm headed bolts - 30ft lbs. The 7, 10 mm hex nuts - 5 ft lbs. The 7, hex head bolts - 5ft lbs. Take note not to overtighten as this will damage the timing cover.

open hood, come in from behind blub. twist cover to loosen it, it slides out of the way, down the wires. blub will then come out with a little effort. when you replace bulb do not touch bulb with your fingers. oils damge bulb and it won't last as long

5w30 or 5w20

Check the oil cap. If it lists 5w20, use that. If it doesn't say, use 5w30.

From behind the light bezel (under the truck) quarter turn and remove the lamp holder. Replace with an "893" type bulb

The pulley is part of the pump assembly. I don't think it comes off. The clutch fan unbolts from there. Is that what you mean?

Don't have the full answer but have the mechanic (or yourself) check before replacing all the plugs with the same value..... I have read that one side of engine has a different plug on one side than the other..... check it out, first

Misfires, hard start, no start, more often when wet.

The rear, 2 screws and the tail light comes out. The front, there's a small T15 torx screw under the headlight. Then just pull the signal assembly straight out.

The 2006 Mercedes-Benz M-Class has all wheel drive.

This is a 15 minute job... use a 15MM socket and ratchet (set to loosen) to move the tension pulley (located directly below the oil dipstick) toward the battery side of the engine compartment. this will allow enough slack in the old belt to pull it off of the alternator. It will then come off everything else. Keep track of the routing for the new belt, or refer to the sticker over the radiator, for reinstallation. Use the 15MM socket and rachet to move the tension pulley in again to reinstall the new belt. Have Fun!! These used to be a pain in the a**!!!!

Under vehical next to gas tank. Simple change.

There is not one

After several weeks of intermittend codes or P0455, suddenly I could no longer fill the gas tank easily. I had to let gas trickle in. Dealer mechanic said fuel tank would not pressure test so they replaced my locking gas cap that I used for three years, then it pressure tested okay. They also replace the charcoal cannister ($152) and the cannister control valve (solenoid) for another $40.

I bench tested the cannister and found no leaks or anything else wrong with it. I tested the cannister control valve and nothing was wrong with it. Fuel tank filled up okay.

There are two for the engine - they are under the intake plenum attached to the engine. There is one outdoor sensor located in the front of the car - under the facia, and there is one for intake air located in the air - cleaner box.

It's on the frame on the right side of the motor near the radiator.

Take belt off water pump pulley

remove fan from pump (4 bolts)

remove old clutch from fan

install new with same bolts

Put fan back on.
