The part numbers that needs to match up on the PCM on a 2004 RAM 1500 should start with a 0 and end with 2 letters.

I am also trying to figure out the idle adjustment for a 1994 Ram 1500. I'm sure it has to do with tightening the cables which are loose on mine. The cables control the amount of air getting into the engine it seems and are right next to the air filter. There is a threaded end that pushes against the moving piece but there doesn't seem to be an adjusable end to it. It's really messing with my mind. Anyway, I think the cables just loosen over time and they may need to be replaced. Mine are very loose on a 1994. If you follow those cables to where they connect, you may be able to adjust it somehow inside the box. Let me know if this helps and if you figure out yours, your answer might be able to help me as well so keep me posted!

check the heater control valve. these things tend to stick either open or closed. it may also be your blend door. check the heater control valve first, for you dont have to take the dash off.

all of the other lights come on but when I turn switch all away to start wont do it

1. Take the three bolts that hold the headlight/ blinker lens assembly off.

2. Pull kind of hard straight out. There is a clip that should release. If it does not realease then break it.

3. Change bulb.

I have a 2008 RAM 1500, with the BASIC 4 SPEAKERS system ... it's 6"x9" speakers for the front doors, and 5 1/4" speakers for the rear doors.

I don't know the sizes for the optionnal "Infinity" 7 speakers system ...

I had to make sure by removing my own factory speakers first before ordering new ones since most of the specialized websites were WRONG about the original speaker sizes ... I sent a full set of pictures to "Crutchfield" to show them updated information about the correct speaker sizes.

Make sure to order "speaker wiring harnesses" to quickly connect your aftermarket speakers without having to cut any wires ...

Finaly, note that the rear 5 1/4" factory speakers only have 3 HOLES to stay in place, while the aftermarket always have 4, you may want to get a set of "speaker brackets" to help you installing them.

There is a fuse box under the hooh on the right hand side also. You will probably find one on them blown.

It is a sensor that is mounted to the EGR valve. It moniters the position of the EGR valve and sends that info to the ECM.

That was my first impression.

You must take the jack handle from under the passenger front seat.

Take two sections together and put the larger opening thru the hole located above and to the right of the license plate. A flash light would be handy to see what your aiming for. Look for a 3" round white cone with a square bolt in the center of it. Place the jack rod on it and turn left until tire cable lowers tire to the ground. Lift the tire on an angle and remove the cable and holder attachment thru the center tire hole and viola !

HINT: It really helps to have a crescent wrench, a flashlight, (day or night), and patience.

Check the fuse in Position #12, you will need a small flat head screwdriver to pop open the black fuse "cap". This fuse controls the "Memory" wire (yellow) to the radio, as well as the interior lights...

inside the van take out the center (dono what its called) "compartment" i guess.. and youll see the distributor. remove the old can which i think is 3 screws. and remove and attach your wires to the new cap and install..

when turning the engine off the deposits in the oil screen fall out and as you run the truck the deposits clog the screen back up causing loss in oil pressure... your oil pump may be going bad but i would say the pick-up screen is clogged my advice would to get a new one before engine starts to smoke and lock up..
