Where is the engine oil cooler on a 1998 Ford Econoline van E150

According to the 2008 Ford E-150 owners manual :

The GASOLINE engines ( 4.6 L and 5.4 L V8's , 6.8 L V10 ) take :

With engine oil filter change :

( 6.0 U.S. quarts / 5.7 litres of 5W-20 engine oil )

that depends what is wrong with it

no belts or chains gear driven only

The fuse diagram is on the back of the fuse compartment cover that you remove to see the fuses, this goes for the one under the driver side located by the steering coloumn and the major breaker pannel located to the left of the master cylinder under the hood.

the diagram is printed on top of both fuse/relay panels.unless someone has miss placed the tops. they are in the service manuals $18.95 at Autozone,etc...

A common reason for this to happen with front wheel drive vehicles, is the steering rack is going bad. Cold weather will aggravate it even more.This is more of an annoyance than a safety issue. Mark

This is most likely caused due to a problem in your spool valve on the steering rack. It can be repaired but I'm not sure if it's legal to do so in your country - you'll probably have to replace the rack. Plain and simple ---the valve body of the steering gear is shot replace the steering box or rack as the case may be

Dodge does not use inertia/reset switches.

Sounds like it may be a vacuum leak

Check fittings and vacuum hoses under hood, under dash and at vacuum modulator on transmission

Check the starter and selenoid-check to make sure all electrical connections are snugged-test alternator

On a 2001 Ford E-150 :

The thread on cap on the engine coolant reservoir is your pressure cap /

radiator cap

The various functions are controlled by engine vacuum,defrost being the default without vacuum. Look far a damaged or loose vacuum line starting from the function switch,through the reservoir,to the engine vacuum port.

There should be an EEC TEST connection in the engine compartment for the

OBD I , EEC IV system

THE FUEL PUMP SWITCH (REALLY A BUTTON) IS LOCATED BELOW THE DASH BOARD

AND UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE BOX ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE. IN FRONT OF SEAT

THERES THE SIDE PANEL THAT COVERS THE RUG RUNNING FROM THE FLOOR ON UP

ITS IN THAT AREA. TAKE YOUR TIME. YOU WILL FIND IT. IT IS A RED BUTTON.

cam position sensor, located inside distribitor. have to take distribitor apart to replace it.

the cables are broke..Ihave the same problem,dealer want 425$ for latch handles(everything inside door)...check your local u-pullit

The handle has to be replaced. there is a little plastic peice that fails on the handle thus not allowing you to open he door with the outer handle. This is not repairable. 1. Remove inner door cover. 2. Disconnect all cables. 3. Unscrew handle from inside. 4. Remove damaged handle and replace with new one. 5. Tighten down retaining screws. Check Handle for proper orientation. 6. Reconnect all cables. Check Handle for proper operation. 7. Refit inner door cover. the door is restored to proper operation.

Your engine oil could be low check it when it cools and if level is fine your oil pressure sending unit could be bad or engine in need of rebuilding
