the batteries are mounted on the right hand side of the frame behind the passanger door there is a jump start terminal behind the second battery you will need a floor jack to change the batteries as you have to drop the batterie boxs down off of the frame to get at them

I have a 1994 E150 Conversion. But the factory harness is located under the rear of the van to the left hand side and attached to the frame.

As the oil heats up it becomes thinner. If the engine bearings are worn the pressurized oil leaks past the bearings far easier and the oil pump will be unable to pump sufficient quantity to keep the pressure up. Next time you change the oil use a slightly heavier grade oil. If you've been using 5W15, change to 10W30. Whatever the numbers are now, change to the next level up.

well I'm not an expert but my fathers 1986 ford f-150 had a 2 barrel and it make what i think might be the same noise as what you are talking about....if that is that case it is not the carbureator but the engine itself.... if you have over 290,000 miles on it it's the bearings making that noise not that carbureator but you don't have to believe me I'm only 15 and my dad was a professional mechanic for 20 years...

The recommended weight of oil for a 2003 Ford Econoline Van 6 cylinder is 5W20. It requires 6 quarts of oil.

the rubber plug is just an inspection hole.with towing you can overheat a transmission and it can pop the front seal out.you will have to have the seal inspected or replaced.do not drive truck as it can cause major damage,if it hasent already happened.make sure that there is a transmission external cooler,designed for extra cooling while towing

The 4.2 is a dog that actually gets worse mileage than the V-8s do. Typical mileage for full size vans with a small V-8 is around 12-13 city, and 14-17 highway, depending on load, engine size, etc.

on 4-cyl models its on the exaust manifold if u look under the car you should see it its right under where the 4 pipes become one

There is one pump in the tank, and a second pump outside the tank, likely mounted near the tank along the fuel line. to find the pump outside the tank follow the frame rail toward truck motor and i will be before the filter
