First check the fuse. Second check the switch. Same goes with power windows. A weak motor will melt a switch. If that fails ,connect a 12v power supply strait to the door in question.

you set the base time , now you need to set the static timing.(ignition time) perhaps in the process you disconected a spark plug wire and re attached it in the wrong spot. or when you set the base timing you put the #1 piston on a exhaust stroke rather than the compression stroke. if it was put in exhaust stroke the car is never going to fire up. there could also be other reasons. bad plugs,bad ignition module,bad coil. loose plug wires,bad distributor cap.ect.

if you are talking about the inertia switch, it is located on the passenger side cargo area. there is a panel over the wheel well. open this and you will see what looks like a solenoid valve with a plunger on top. this switch can be activated by even a good bump. if the plunger looks as if it is up press back down and try starting the engine. hope this helps.

Follow a cable out of the firewall to the sensor sticking straight up on the transmission/transaxle. right in plain view. 10 mm nut

Check the fuse box cover, it should be labelled with its own diagram.

1. Remove the steering wheel and the upper and lower steering columns.

2. Disconnect the multi function switch connectors behind the instrument panel.

3. Remove the screw that holds the multi function switch to the steering column.

4. Carefully pry up the tab that secures the switch harness retainer to the bracket on either side. Pull the retainers off the brackets.

5. Take the multi function switch off the steering column.

6. Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector.

7. REmove the switch mounting screws and take the switch off.

5W30 is recommended for all temperature ranges

2.0l I am guessing. Drivers side front. You will see a long plastic hose coming from the top of the intake down to right near the exhaust manifold(front of engine). It is either in the middle of the hose(the housing will be marked PCV valve) or it will be at the end of it. Stock ford PCV valved are plastic...so don't just look for something metal.

Open the trunk and on the side you will see a clip, unscrew the 'clip' and pull the fabric down gently. This will expose the tail light bulb holders. Turn the light bulb holders until they come out, about 1/2 turn. remove bulb and replace.

Call salvage yards in your area and try to find one the same year and color and replace the whole door. They are not that hard to change. If the paint is pealing on the dented door peal a piece off and take it the salvage yard with you to color match. I'm guessing a door should cost $50-$75.
