I assume you have a diesel excursion. The block heater plug should be tucked away in the front bumper. they are sometimes hard to see, and come from the factory tied up . Some vehicles may not have a block heater from the factory. A dealer can print out a build sheet that will show such things. Use of a block heater is probably not necessary unless temperatures are single digits or below. Mine starts well as low as -8 without plugging in. If it will not start well at 10 to 15 or above, I would say you have something that needs repair.

Are you sure you don't have it. Most of the trucks were coming with it, just not the cord. Go out to your bumper and see if you have the cord. Mind is tucked in the bumper on the passenger side. Check both side of the bumper.

There is a safety switch located behind your brake pedal arm behind the actual brake pad that evidently has gone bad that must be replaced, I believe average cost is @$20.00 for the part.

There are 3 relays for the door lock/unlock system. A LOCK relay, a driver's door UNLOCK relay, and a all door UNLOCK relay.

They are located inside the vehicle on the cowl, behind the radio, to the right side of the throttle pedal assembly. There is a cover (a lid like the ones that cover the fuses and relays in the fuse boxes) that snaps off.

The best access to the relays is from under the center of the dash, remove the heater air direction spout that's above the throttle pedal and you can see and reach them. The spout is removed by removing the under column dash trim that covers the fuse panel, then removing the 7mm bolt that holds it to the dash frame.

No, a 1996 Ram does not have an inertia switch.

You can go to one size upper (maybe 2) but you have to know that you car is built to get this tire on. One sise or two upper is not verry bad, but you have to check you direction cause big tires means that you'll beverry close to your fenders and when you'll turn the tire may tuch the fenders.

If you really want to know the real dimentions you can put on your vehicule you can go to a tire shop and they will be able to tell you.

Last thing. If you lift you excursion 2 or 3 sized upper it is the best (for a 3" lift kit) 4-5 sized it is dangerous for your transmition and also for your engine (especialy if you make some heavy 4WD)

best thing to do is obtain the ford manual either online or from an auto parts store and follow the step by step instructions down to the letter

Look on the rear lower end of engine--Follow + battery cable

It may just be off the track, the plastic track will crack from temperature differentiation. Try some culking (like for around a bath tub) when its warm then put it back in, it will dry around the window but not to it and give it a smooth surface to glide up and down on and culking wont freeze or melt like plastic or the double sided tape stuff they put in there factory
