Air bag code 52 - intermittent or repaired lost battery feed

It could be a fuse , a sensor , or some other problem with the antilock brake

system ( as long as the red " brake " light in your dash is not on you still have

" normal " braking )

Need more information. Do the tailight bulbs light up, just not the brake lights? What about the turn signals? If so you might have the incorrect bulbs installed. If the tailights, turn signal and brake lights are out you have something disconnected. There are three bulbs on each side of the body part of the car. The top and bottom bulbs are dual bulbs (1157) while the middle bulb has one filament. It is probably the lamp failure sensor. It is located in the trunk on the driver side just behind the backseat. It is a small black box with a white connector connected in it. You shorted out the circuit board in the sensor. I repaired mine myself.

I'm not a mechanic / technician but :

- low engine coolant

- engine thermostat stuck closed

- water pump not circulating

- engine cooling fan not working properly

- restricted radiator

you dont have to pull it out you can also push the other end out ( it kind of looks like a bent horse shoe) just get a flat head screwdriver and and pop one of the side of the horseshoe pin off

its a pain to see put easy to do

are you really asking about the lights going "OFF" when the door opens? The switch is A ground connector, So that is pretty much impossible, As for the second part of the question, There is A switch inside the car that will turn on the interior light while the doors are shut, Check to see that it is not in the on position, It may be with the dash dimmer switch, i am not sure on your car. but, all cars use A grounding system to turn on the interior lights. There is power to the light ALL THE TIME. Hold on! I thought about it, See if the switch in the door area is broken.

"SHORT" is the optimum word here. Somewhere along the line the power wire has rubbed bare and is touching metal. Maybe inside the door or where it runs from the Explorer body into the door. Either that or the switch itself has devoloped a "dead short". You'll have to follow the wires from the fusebox to the switch. Maybe will have to pull the door panel off. Don't waste anymore fuses until you locate the problem. Make up a jumper wire from the positive side of the battery and you can touch the switch where the power comes in to see if the switch works or not. Unhook the power lead first. If the switch works the problem is in the wiring. With the switch unhooked, put a new fuse in and see if it blows. Open and close the door several times. If the fuse blows the problem is in the wiring. If not it's in the switch.

The heated exhaust gas oxygen sensors ( before the catalytic converter)s

are used to " sense " the amount of oxygen in the engine exhaust and that

signal is used to adjust the air / fuel ratio of the engine ( P.S. I am not a

mechanic / technician , that's just the way I understand it )

I would say a small percentage of the vehicles that have a check engine light are the result of a loose or inadequate gas cap. But understand that many scenarios are possible with the "check engine light" The vehicle's powertrain computer (note that some vehicles have multiple computers aside from the powertain computer) will run a series of self-tests. If the airbag is not blown...you might want to see a dealer about resetting the light for you so that they can check the airbag at the same time and see if it is still operable. If you don't care about the airbag, pull the lightbulb out from behind the "air bag warning light"...never again ;) Or it could be a mistake made by the computer and you can try resetting the computer. Pull the negative and positive terminal(positive first) off of the battery...pump your brakes 3-4 times. Let the car sit 10-15 min., then connect the negative terminal and then the positive terminal, tighten and enjoy.

On the pasenger side of the engine, straight up and down. You should be able to see it when you are standing by the passenger front wheel and looking down in the engine compartment - a flashlight helps.

You can find a 1994 E-350 wiring diagram for free at various auto parts stores. You can also find it in the owner's manual.

On a 1995 Ford Explorer :

In the power distribution box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine

compartment on the drivers side

( in the 2nd row from the drivers side , and in the 3rd space from the firewall

end of the box , is a 30 amp maxi fuse for the power door locks , power

windows , and power seats )

Snip the wires going to the light. Then put a jumper across the snipped wires so the control module thinks the light is working.

Refill the reservoir. Or, if full already, check the little rubber hoses from the reservoir to the outlets. If the checks out OK, check to Mae sure the pump is running when you activate the washer switch by haveing someone listen under the hood. No noise means the pump will need to be replaced or a wire is loose. If it is running and no fluid is being pumped it usually means that the impeller has come loose from the shaft for some reason and the pump will have to be replaced.

Motor Oil Dipsticks is located on the drivers side engine compartment.

No. Once, I locked my keys in the car and the slim Jim did not work. The AAA guy ended up using a hanger-like thing to manually open the door. Another time the AAA guy used some sort of door "jimmy" (sorry, I don't know the name of the tool he used), which took <5 seconds.
