take your left wheel off jack the lft side of the car up as well. get a floor jack and jack up your tranny about 2inches unbolt the axle. unbolt the transmission unbolt pressure plate and clutch put new in then bolt everything back up that's the overview of it

Removing the steering wheel by hand is hard. A person needs a steering wheel pulled to remove the steering wheel of this car. It applies pressure to the middle of the steering wheel and pulls up on the rest of it.?æ

The bulb and harness twist off the back of the lens. The lens is a separate unit.

It depends on whether or not the transmissions between the two cars are the same (5-speed manual, 3-speed automatic, or 4-speed automatic). If you attempt to install a 5-speed manual where you had a 3-speed automatic you'll not be driving anywhere without some modifications to the car. Most of the Geos sold had the automatic transmissions, though, so odds are that both cars are auto. With regards to whether or not an auto transmission of a differing size will fit, I can't garuntee that it will work if you try to go a step up. A 4-speed automatic contains one more gear than a 3-speed, and so is physically large. I don't know whether or not it will fit in the old space allocated to the transmission in a '94. A 3-speed in a 4-speed's place will be physically smaller, though, so it has a decent chance of working out for you, though it will take some getting used to. Prizms were mass-produced, and came with the three different options of transmissions. As I said before, I can't be certain that a large transmission will fit without some parts rubbing, but with most mass-produced cars, they can take any of the factory-standard parts. Just a precaution: Don't try to go with the transmission of anything newer than a '97 Prizm. '93-'97 Prizms are "second generation" Prizms, and utalize most of the same parts and the same technology.

I have a 1990 Geo Prizm Lsi... I have gotten between 40 - 45 mpg... for the last 6 years... but it does depend on how hard you push the gas pedal. Just keep the oil changed as much as you can and put some fuel injector cleaner in once a month or so... For $15 -$20 I can drive my car for 2 weeks minimum... its awesome..!

The pump is attached to the side of the reservoir. ( about $14. 00 at Autozone Part # 22138719 )

Note: there is also a relay that may be bad.

If it vibrates at idle and runs good under under full throttle, you have a vacuum leak. It can also be defective spark plugs or plug wires.

Interesting question, and I give you credit for your creativity, but no. Consider the overall sizes of the pickup's engine compartment vs. the geo's. A Cummins would be more likely as you'd be going inline-3 to inline-6 vs. I3 to V8, but you've still got the transaxle issue & inadequate space underhood. That & you'd probably destroy the the front drive axles with 600+ ft.lbs. of torque at your disposal. Plus neither the suspension nor chassis would be adequate to support the weight.

You have to remove the door panel. Then it's pretty much self-explanatory.

Parts store has this info. Driver side uses 20inch, passagener side uses 18inch.

The Prizm rear speaker covers can be removed by wedging your fingers up under the back of the speaker box. The box cover is riveted to particle board below and will brake free with a quick pull. From their everything is accesable for simple(same size)spaeker replacement. It's not possible to mount bigger speakers under the deck. So, if the stock size doesn't work for you, I suggest entirely removing the box and installing a pair of 6x9 boxes easily found at your local Wally World.

No, No, No!!! This will destroy the rear deck! You need to remove the rear seat and then remove the rear deck cover. This will expose the speakers which can be replaced with 6.5 inch speakers woth 4 protruding screw tabs (The others with the holes in the circular basket need a plastic adapter ring.

First you have to make sure that all of the old kind is out of the system b4 you add the new freon regulated by the government. Once you have all of that out then you just open the valve (it is located on the passenger side of the car under the hood) and add it in

Your 100 amp alternator fuse if probably blown. It supply a lot of electrical circuits. Check your fuse panel under the hood. It is bolted in down below so you will have to take the fuse panel off the firewall.

the OBD1 connector is on the passenger side behind the kick panel. Its most likely bright orange.

The diagnostics terminal for the jumper wire is under the hood mounted to the drivers side wheel well. Jump tabs E1 and TE1 with a wire to make the check engine light flash the codes. Ex. a code 21 is two flashes followed by a pause and then one flash.

Apparantly fuel is not reaching the combustion chamber. The most likely is a clogged fuel filter or a faulty fuel pump.

It happens due to:

1)Insufficient evaporation taking place from the wet bulb due to salt and dust or other impurities on the muslin,or due to presence of no water on the muslin.

2)It maybe due to difference in sensitivities of both the thermometers whereby one of them is slow in recording sudden changes of temperatures.

3)Lastly,maybe due to faculty of broken thermometers.

Turn off the radio. Hold in the "Recall" button while pressing the "Tuning" button. Press left to adjust hrs, press right to adjusrt min.

Reach under the bumper cover , and you should feel the wires feel around once you have located the end of the socket twist it and the socket will fall down, then pull the bulb straight out, repeat with the other side

You haav to loosen the idler pulley lock nut and turn the adjusting bolt to let the tension off the old one. Put the new one on and tighten the adjusting bolt until the belt is tight and then tighten the idler pulley lock nut.

in mine, they were 25 watts a peice. they are 25 watts a piece and the speaker size is 5.25 inches. Standard size is 5 1/4", but 4" w/ an adpter plate will work and is you can find 6" or cut the opening larger, you can use larger.
