No, it will not. The 1995 is a 5th generation and the 1999 is a 6th generation. They are totally different and not interchangable.

yes. its a good swap but expensive. you will need a transmission ecu and alot of other things. it would be cheaper and i think better just to rebuild and turbo or supercharge your d16y8 engine that comes stock

Is there a tool that will get a drivers window on a Honda 2000 civic back on track?

IF its anything like my 98 ex, your best option to do it yourself like i did is to first remove the door panel. then remove the screw that keeps the front track in place. After you have this screw removed you will need to get the window as high up as you can without pushing it too hard.

Then put your hand on the track and reach up as far as you can go. Next you need to use a finger to spread the track open where your hand is, and slowly use the window button to move the window down.

As the window gets near where your finger is you need to push the rubber out enough so that the window can slide back into the track. After you get the window on the inside of the rubber up top move it down more and keep sure with your fingers that it stays inside the rubber track until you reach the bottom. Then screw the track back in the opposite of the way you took it out. Notice the hole for the screw is oblong allowing room for adjustment.

You want to adjust it as far towards the back of the car as you can without putting excess pressure on the door and making it harder for the window motor to push it up.

If you have ever had a seat belt that was all twisted the wrong way and you folded the belt in half while pulling it through the upper loop by the roof to get it to flip over to the correct side the concept is pretty similar to what you are doing here. Simply forcing pushing one of the rubber guide edges out forcing the window to go over it and back into track.

It took me a few tries the first time but you will get the hang of it.

Good luck!!!

Car check engine sign?

If check engine soon comes on it means you may have a computer sensor telling you something is wrong. You should get a code readout ASAP. Mine let me down and it was a mass air flow sensor the problem.

How fast is a civic?

How do you remove a 89 civic bumper?

its a series of screws and bolts.. its really easy.. first the two screws on each side of the wheel well where it meets with the fenders on each side of the car.. second take the bumper lights out with the single screw either on the inside or outside (i forget).. pull out the the bumper lights and take out the lights from the light sockets on the bumper lights.. third behind the bumper lights is where the bumper support bolts on to the frame.. its alot easier if you take of the bumper support with it.. they're two 12mm bolts one on top the otherbehind each bumper light.. take off all four.. then the bumper will hang loose.. on the bottom of the bumper will be two 10mm bolts where the bumper connects to the radiator support.. take those off as well.. and voualla.. (how ever u spell it) the bumper is off when replacing any front end piece (besides the hood) it is always good to take off the front bumper.. i found out the hard way when i tried to replace my filler panel (between bumper and head light)

How do you replace a head gasket on a Honda civic dx 1.5 liter?

Replacing a head gasket on a 1.5 liter Honda Civic requires removal of many of the engines components such as the intake manifold, valve cover, and timing belt. After removing the head from the engine it needs to be resurfaced. Replace the old head gasket and machined head onto the block and reinstall all the other components.
