The main fuse for a Yamaha Virago 750 is typically located in the fuse box, which is often underneath the rider's seat or near the battery. Check the owner's manual or the bike's service manual for specific instructions on locating and replacing the main fuse.
This could be caused by a leak in the cooling system, a malfunctioning radiator cap, a blocked radiator, or a failing water pump. It's important to have the system diagnosed and repaired by a mechanic to prevent overheating and engine damage.
You can usually find wiring diagrams for Valley irrigation systems in the system manual provided by the manufacturer. If you are unable to locate it there, you can contact the manufacturer directly for assistance.
A 1995 Pontiac Firebird could lose power due to issues such as a clogged fuel filter, a failing fuel pump, a faulty ignition coil, or a problem with the catalytic converter. These components can affect the fuel delivery or engine performance, resulting in power loss.
During winter, the coolant in your engine may be contracting due to cold temperatures, triggering the low coolant signal. When the temperature rises above 30 degrees, the coolant expands, which could alleviate the low coolant signal issue. It is recommended to check the coolant level and address any leaks to prevent potential engine damage.
In a 4-prong plug using 10-3 wire with ground:
A buzzing sound from lights that starts and stops could be caused by a loose connection in the electrical wiring, a faulty light switch, or a problem with the light fixture itself. It's best to have a qualified electrician inspect the wiring and fixture to determine the exact cause and address any potential safety issues.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in the United States is entrusted with the authority to regulate and oversee road safety and vehicle standards. This agency, operating under the Department of Transportation (DOT), sets safety standards for vehicles and equipment, regulates fuel economy to reduce emissions, investigates and enforces vehicle recalls for safety defects, collects and analyzes crash data, promotes road safety through education, conducts research, and works to prevent vehicle theft. NHTSA's core mission is to enhance road safety, save lives, and reduce traffic-related injuries and accidents through various regulatory, enforcement, and educational initiatives.
The Select button and the set button, hold them down together, should reset with in a couple of seconds.
Try tuging on the steering wheel while trying to turn the key. Check the position of the front wheels, they can transmit tension back up the steering colum and lick the ignition switch.
go to your local part store an pick up some wheel spacers
It's on the bottom of the transfer case. It's a large white/yellowed sensor with a 2 wire connector.
try the driver side fender or the fuse panel under the hood
There is a plastic twist off cap on the passenger side of the intake. The pcv is there.
On the differential there should be a plug with a 3/8 or 1/2 inch square on it that you can use a socket wrench to remove, just stick your finger in and feel if there is fluid. If there is no fluid, fill to that level.
It takes a few seconds for the oil pump to fill the oil filter and then pressurize the engine's lubrication system.
If your Jeep has the earlier AMC based 4.0, 4.2, or 6.0 liter engines, the oil filter is rather large and takes a few seconds longer to fill. If you change your own oil, you can prefill the filter with oil if the filter mounts with the filter pointing upwards... horizontal mounting makes for a mess.
If you change the oil and the pressure registers within 6 or 7 seconds of start-up and idle, there is no damage to the engine. I have had an engine that was run for three or four 15 second runs without damage (I made an oops installing an oil pump and it wouldn't prime).
If you are concerned about oil pressure, have the engine checked with an external pressure gage. If the pressure is below specifications, the pump may be worn and is taking too long to build up pressure after an oil change. The AMC pumps give long service and usually only need replacement after very high milage.
It is under the hood on the right (passenger side) of the vehicle up next to the fire wall to the rear of the coolant recovery tank. Do not turn the freon canister upside down when filling this port and the engine is running. It will cause liquid to go to the pump and destroy your pump. Make sure you wear safety glasses and gloves when you work with this, as the freon absorbs huge amount of moisture and it will absorb quickly into your eyes if sprayed or spilled. The high pressure connection is on the side of the A/C pump near the front of the engine on the left (driver's) side.
The transmission range sensor it the sensor for the automatic transmission to find all the shift points in the shifting of all gears.
if this goes bad it could cause a lot of shifting problems and even braking problems i have heard of people losing control of the vehicle while driving on the free way. The free way is were you will feel most of the symptoms for the range sensor.
i would get this fixed Asap!
1. do it your self the sensor cost about $20 to $70 depending on what vehicle.
and it located on the top of your transmission by the shifter. and has 2 bolts and needs to be aligned correctly.
2. call the dealer for help on do it your self or pay them to fix it about $200 - $600 depends on vehicle . this is a average amount for dealer or shops .
(Note) the shops will be cheaper than a dealer .
(Notes) for do it your self:
Get a manual for your car or call dealer for guides and diagrams.
get a Haynes Repair Manual
Here is a Example Instructions for a Hyundai Repair Transmission Range Sensor Switch.
Unfortunately, I cannot post a picture here. But, if you'd like to see pictures and the repair
procedure, you can register for a free account at www.hmaservice.com (requires Internet
Explorer).
To replace the switch, you'll need a ratchet, long extension, and 10mm and 14mm sockets. If
you need to remove the battery tray-- I cannot recall if it's in the way-- you'll also need a 12mm
socket.
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Place the vehicle in neutral and turn the ignition switch to the accessory position.
3. Unplug the range switch.
4. Remove the 14mm nut and lock washer holding the shifter arm in place on the switch.
5. Remove the shifter arm from the selector shaft.
6. Remove the 10mm bolts holding the range switch in place.
7. Remove the range switch and install the new switch.
8. Install the 10mm bolts finger tight and then back them off 1/2 turn.
9. Install the lever onto the selector shaft.
10. Install the lock washer and securely tighten the 14mm nut.
11. Make sure the shift lever inside the car is still in the neutral position.
12. Align the hole in the range switch with the hole in the shift lever.
13. Securely tighten the two 12mm bolts.
14. Plug in the range switch.
And here are better instructions for another vehicle.
The link below provides a pdf document on a site i found that had documents and pictured instructions for the replacement or a trans sensor on a automatic transmission.
This is the best instructions i could find on this transmission range sensor.

There should be a lamp on the dashboard with something like 4 wheels and lines between them, when you turn on/off your AWD, this lamp should be on or off. Other systems show this kind of information on display. Anyway most of the cars are permanently AWD, FWD or RWD.
Maybe because there's no such car? The last year for the Cherokee was 2001.
I had the same problem on my 2003 jeep grand cherokee. One reason it will stay on is after you wash it or a good amount of water gets in the engine. If it is below freezing the water freezes in the radiator causing the fan to continuously run
e heat echgers go bad in the seat, call the a jeep dealer it might be a recal. it is in my 2001.
This problem was a recall issue for Chrysler and they should repair it at no cost. You're lucky!!!! The seat heater has two fail modes...stops working or seat catches on fire.
Depends on what year the Jeep was made. Most Jeeps use a fuel rail that receives fuel from the fuel tank, and under pressure, feeds fuel injector plugs located inside the manifold housing. Novice car repair people think the fuel injectors are the spark plugs (spark plugs have flexible wires leading from the distributer cap to the tops of the spark plugs.) Hope this helps.
Its a tough job. You have to remove the dash panel, including the steering wheel and steering column and then remove the plenum box which involve evacuating the refrigerant system and draining the radiator. Once you get the heater box out, replacing the heater core will take about 10min and then you have to put it all back together and recharge the AC and fill the radiator.
If you are seeing leak problems with the system, you will have to go through this process. If the problem is lack of heat and/or AC control, the problem is more likely the blend door. This is a common fail on the Cherokee. You can get diagnostic information and an inexpensive fix on the HeaterTreater web site. Follow my user name to my Bio Page for a pointer or just search heatertreater on any search engine. ford4me
You need to loosen a couple of things, but its pretty straight forward. The bolt for the air tube junction so you can move the bracket, then you can take out the front fuel line, then simply unloosen the nuts to the fuel rail and slowly lift one end or the other. If its a middle injector take it off completely and use some Parker lube of vaseline and put them all back in lubed. Remember to mark/label you injector wires or just keep in mind where they go. I have used aftermarket ones with pretty good results, but I've learned look at them all closely cause after I've changed one, it didn't take long for another to go out. make sure you also change your fuel filter crap in the gas will clog them easily. later
