Probably a bad flasher

Underneath the driver's side dashboard tucked way up on the firewall. You will see a round cylindrical item. There are separate ones for the hazard flashers and turn signals, so make sure you pick the right one.

Remove the aircleaner snorkle from the top of the throttle body. Remove the throttle body from the manifold after unplugging the connectors and the cables. Remove the two screws that hold the iac on it's base. Replace it in reverse order. The one I did took several on offs to get it to return to a good idle, This was after warmup, I turned the key on and pressed the accelerator to the floor five times and the light came on and said done, it started off at 3k again so I would let it run a very short time and then turn it off to let the heat soak in a little then turn it on again, this time I turned the key on and floored it ten times not with the motor running of course. It acted like the iac needed to calibrate itself or something. Also in the process we put some metal tape with a small hole punched in it, over the opening in the throttle body to restrict the air till it warmed up at a safe 1500rpms.

the only way to do this is from the inside you will have to remove the interior trim panel away as best you can and the go in and release the lock rods from inside try lifting the handle and pushing on the door at the same time, then pulling the door out. works for me. I have a 1996 Grand Cherokee Limited and I do the same as the above. Lift the handle and push on the door at the same time, then pull the door out. Its not a repair but the little extra effort on an older car saves you some money.

you will have to replace the window regulator.

Your temperature control actuator is bad. It's a little motor that moves the temp door. They are about $70 at the dealer. To change it you need to remove the knee trim panel on the passenger side (3 screws, 7mm socket). The actuator is in the center above the transmission hump. It has one harness plugged into it and 2 screws (5.5 mm). Take the screws out and it should drop straight down. Align the actuator with the lever on the door and put the screws in. Plug the harness back in. Turn your temp control to cold and remove the HVAC 1 fuse. Should be in the fuse panel on the drivers side of the dash. Turn your key to run and leave it on for at least 1 minute. Turn your key back off and put the fuse back in.
P.S. The trim panel is a PITA to get off, so while you have it off check to see if you have the cabin air filters and change them while you are under there.

I could answer your question, and the others on here by telling you exactly where to locate the item you're looking for on your vehicle. But, I'm not. I believe in teaching someone to fish soo... go down to your local auto-parts store and buy the Haynes or Chilton book for your vehicle. Runs between 15 and 25 bucks and next to buying a OBD code reader, it's the most well spent money you'll ever spend on your vehicle.

The repair book not only tells you how to fix stuff on your vehicle, it also tells you WHERE stuff is... for the most part. And tells you how much fluid to add, and whether your mechanic is going to rip you off. Like my Jeep, it's fuel filter is life of vehicle and is therefor located IN the gas tank, but that doesn't stop Lube places from telling me I should change it. The book though, tells me to tell them to hit the road....

I found the best way to correct this issue is to, using the key lock and unlock the door a few times this has aways fix the problem for me.

If you are asking then it is probably best you have it replaced by a mechanic. This is fairly involved and you have ample opportunity to mess it up. on my 94 jgc limited, wi 5.2 v8, the new pump and labour together cost me $300 CAD .. if you look around you can probably find a good mechanic for a good price. Dealerships often charge twice what a good independent mechanic charges.

You need to provide more info .... what is the engine in your vehicle, does it have AC (this is a pain to work around on the v8) see if you can find a good shop manual (NOT A HAYNES BOOK) it should run you around $100 CAD and if you plan to do the work yourself then it is essential (BTW this is what most dealer mechanics work from anyway) Consider this an investment because a repair done wrong may cost you much more later on

It is NOT hard to replace this water pump. On the 5.2L 318c.i engine, there is nothing other than the fan and fan clutch attached to it. The only pain in the neck is the "Bypass" hose on top that goes to the thermostat. You need a pair of needlenose vise grips (good ones, not junk) to work the clamp up high enough to let go of the pump neck. The rest of it is simple. You want complicated? Try a 1984 Camaro Z-28 water pump! Everything on the front of the engine is bracketed to THAT baby. Anyone who can hold a wrench, should be able to follow the decent directions in the Haynes manual ($14.95US)and replace this pump. DIY for approx. $100US total. $65 water pump, $14.95 book, $20 various gaskets and sealers. I would recommend replacing hoses and thermostat while doing this repair, since you've got the fluid out and thet are relatively cheap.Good Luck!!

If the shift lever on the floor won't move to engage there is most likely a linkage problem.

If the linkage seems to move and you shift the lever under the dash from 2wd to 4wd and the transfer case does not engage look for a vacuum problem. the lines can be very brittle and break easily. There is a vacuum motor on the transfer case that must work in order to engage the 4wd. if all of these seem to work then the problem is likely to be internal.

Next time, add some more detail to your question, but FIRST, check your tranny fluid level. When the transmission fluid level is low, your vehicle will start to act REAL funky and make weird noises and your question may hint at low fluid level. If it's not that, take a close look at what the fluid looks like and smells like. And then schedule for an appointment with a trusted mechanic to check out your transmission looked at. Maybe, you just need band adjustment or fluid replaced because it's old fluid and worn out.

OIL LINE? there is no oil line connected to the radiator. There are transmission fluid lines attached to the radiator.... To disconnect these, get some PB Blaster spray, spray liberally around nuts attaching lines to radiator, wait 10 minutes. Get "FLARE NUT WRENCH" of proper size, and loosen and remove. Make sure you have something to catch fluid in underneath where you are working.Good Luck... November 2010 - please note: my 2001 GC Limited has an oil driven cooling fan, instead of traditional 12 volt motor driven fan. The power steering pump's "oil" pressure drives several systems including this fan. Indeed, this "oil" is not conneted to the radiator. I plan to unhook the fan system and tie it back "intact" so I can lift the radiator out today.
