What causes my Jeep to wobble when turning at low speed?

A wobble in your Jeep when turning at low speed could be caused by several factors. Here are some common causes:

Tire Issues: Uneven wear, low pressure, or misaligned tires can cause wobbling. Off-road tires that aren't balanced can also contribute to the problem.

Suspension Problems: Worn-out suspension components such as ball joints, tie rods, or control arms can lead to instability and wobbling when turning.

Steering Components: Issues with the steering system, such as a worn or loose steering rack, steering box, or power steering problems, may cause wobble at low speeds.

Wheel Bearings: If the wheel bearings are worn or damaged, they can cause a wobbling sensation, especially when turning.

Drivetrain Issues: A problem with the drivetrain, such as a failing universal joint (U-joint) or CV joint, could lead to wobbling during turns.

If the problem persists, it's a good idea to have the Jeep inspected by a mechanic to pinpoint and resolve the issue.

Where is the link between a Jeeps 4-wheel drive and 2-wheel drive so that i can reconnect it so that it does not slip in and out of 4-wheel drive while it is in two wheel drive?

have you check your transfer case fluid, you could have ran it dry and damaged the components. if you want to adjust the lever, it is located on the driver side right above the skidplate. I had this problem on my '88 xj 242 t-case. I got a new detent spring that was a little longer. In fact it was too long so I used a bench grinder and shortened it to the right firmness. This should cause the t-case to stay put.
