Just follow the top radiator hose goes from radiator to cap from cap to thermostate housing. Is held on by two bolts one on each side. istn hard to remove if u have ratched extention and socket. Use a lil gasket cement to hold gasket onto houseing when reinstalling on engine so it wont fall off.

Located next to the battery on the inner wing.

Under the hood on the drivers side below the master cylinder. follow the fuel line from the fuel rail to the top of the filter. fuel filter is under the hood. The fuel pump is inside the tank.

To get to the dash bulbs, you have to remove the side plastic panel in between the dash and the driver door. You can pry it off, but be gentle because it is only held together with plastic pop-rivets. You will not have to replace them, but you might break one or two (no problem). Then, you can remove the panel on the top of the dash and access the light bulbs behind the display. Don't be afraid, it all comes off with pressure. Just be careful. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the 1997 Mazda 626, all you have to do is unscrew the instrment frame, pop it out of the plastic rivets and remove it. After that, unscrew the instrument cluster (there are four screws, two on top and two on the bottom) unhook the three electrical outlets and pull the cluster out. It's quick and easy.

It is located at the engine at the upper rad hose, When you replace it, make sure the spring goes toward the engine.

I think that, only former ford ranger (earlier 80s) could be compatible with that engine. unfortunetly, the old mazdas fall in parts even if the engine still runs good.

The rattle could be caused by loose bolts or worn suspension parts. The rear suspension should be checked to insure that no parts are close to breaking.

The fuse box should be in the engine compartment. Lift the cover off of the fuse box. Turn the cover over & there should be a diagram on the underside of the cover.

The reservoir is located on the master cylinder in a Mazda 626. To add fluid, simply remove the reservoir cap and pour fluid in.

Hello I just brought a 199 Mazda 626 and the horn is not working, after some research I found the horns. There is one behind each of the turn signal lights. You just need to pop the hood remove a screw on the top of the asembly and slide the asembly forward to remove it. By the way if any one can help me with my horn problem I'll apreciate it. after I found the horns I discover that the right one was diconected but arter I plugged back in the horn went off continiuslly non stop until I pulled off the harnes. No wonder was disconected, the sound was only coming from the right one. So I removed the horn relay mean while I figure out whats wrong, I tried to check the horn button underneath the the stearing wheel cover to see if the button was stuck but I saw that the air bag is mounted inside the cover and I don't want to mess it up. Any ideas whats is wrong with mi horn? I need to get it fix before the next state inspection is due and my wife demands to get it fix. she's an angry driver, she will honk on you even if you changed lines without signal :p

Test the horn switch by having someone listen to the relay next to the fuse box under the hood (drivers side). With the horns disconnected, have someone press the horn switch (honk the horn). If the relay is working you will hear it click. Otherwise, the relay is either stuck closed (horn will sound continuously) or not working. If the relay doesn't click, you either have a bad relay or the horn switch is bad.

Dextron 3 will work just fine. The proper fluid should be listed in your Owner's Manual under "Specifications: Lubricant Quality". You don't say whether it's a manual or automatic transmission, but: For manual transmissions, Mazda specified API Service GL-4 or GL-5 SAE 75W-90. For automatic, it depends on engine size. The later 2.0L requires ATF M-III or MERCON, and the 2.5L requires ATF M-III or Dexron II (not "Dextron"). If you have any doubt, contact your local dealer's service department; they'll be glad to look it up for you.

in the gas tank

On a 1997 Mazda 626 4-cyl, the (electric) fuel pump is located inside the gas tank.

Not sure but a 1991 model does, so it stands to reason that a 1990 would.

There are two 10mm bolts hidden inside the transmission bell housing. Transmission has to moved.
