Look on the inside drivers door. On the door latch area there is a sticker that will give the air pressure for cold and hot air pressures.

All batteries will have clearly marked posts, look for the molded + sign next to it or on the side of the battery.

The grounding post will have a negative "-" sign next to it.

If connecting your battery to the car, connect the positive post first, then the ground.

without shattering it, no way, there are 2 screws at the bottom, take those out and pull it to you gently then lift up, if you didnt crack it Im amazed.

No, Mazda recommends replacing the timing belt at about 65K in all states except Ca. where it is 105K. There is no difference in parts just a difference in State laws (CA requires 100K+ on timing belts) and since it is not an interference engine Mazda just stretched the service interval. No damage if it breaks at 75K...you'll just be stranded

This is normal. Only one fan is suppose to work with the A/C on. The other fan works when needed.

Should be next to the brake fluid cup.

The AC relay on a 2001 Mazda Miata is under the hood. It is in the fuse box on the passenger side of the engine compartment.

IAT sensors are usually located in the intake elbow. Have a pig tail connector and look like a loop with a probe inside of it once you unthread it. Actually on 2001 and later model V6 Mustangs the IAT is integrated into the MAF. If you look at the MAF on a 2000 and earlier it is a 4 pin. Where as 2001 and later it is a 6 pin. Those two additional wires run to the IAT. On 2000 and earlier the IAT is a small probe that is before the MAF, that is placed directly into the intake tube.

If it's the manually operated soft top, you pick it up by the handle, and carefully lower it into place, and then refasten the latches on the front interior part of the roof.

Behind the throttle body opening under the throttle position sensor. Takes Torx t-20 bit to remove -- 2 screws, use Torx bit on a 1/4" socket drive with a 1/4" socket to break seal on Torx screws.

Check the horn switch (on the steering wheel). It's a mechanical switch so it might be closing the loop randomly. That's the first place I'd check since it's the most likely to be faulty.

Otherwise use a multimeter and trace the line. you can find the diagram online just in case.

All modern gas cars ( electronic fuel injection) have the fuel pump in the gastank

I use 5-W30 in my 1990, and since the 1993 is almost as old, I would recommend the same oil weight.

there are three miata fuse boxes: two are located under the hood on either side of the engine, and the other is inside the cab, on the drivers door side, up and attached to the side panel. There should be a cover that snaps off and on, and spare fuses and a fuse puller in the cap.
