Which universities in US are offering masters degree in cad-cam?
Eastern Michigan University offers a Masters in CAE (Computer Aided Engineering). Their website says it was formally known as the MS in CAD/CAM. I seen maybe 1 or 2 other schools offering a MS in CAE from my online search.
Use and abuse of mobile phones in college students?
USES OF MOBILE PHONES IN COLLEGE WOULD BE MINIMAL AS IT IS FOR THE STUDIES THAT WE GO TO THE COLLEGE FOR,EXCEPT IN EMERGENCY CASES.THE ABUSES HERE WOULD BE THAT IT WOULD HAMPER THE EDUCATION OF THE STUDENT AND WOULD ALSO BE A SOURCE OF DISTRACTION.
Why is over-pressurizing an Air Conditioning system bad?
Overcharging a refrigeration or air conditioning system can result in an explosion. To avoid serious injury or death, never overcharge the system. Always use proper charging techniques. Limit charge amounts to those specified on the system equipment serial label or in the original equipment manufacturer's service information. Overcharging the system immerses the compressor motor, piston, connecting rods, and cylinders in liquid refrigerant. This creates a hydraulic block preventing the compressor from starting. The hydraulic block is also known as locked rotor. Continued supply of electricity to the system causes heat to build in the compressor. This heat will eventually vaporize the refrigerant and rapidly increase system pressure. If, for any reason, the thermal protector fails to open the electrical circuit, system pressure can rise to high enough levels to cause a compressor housing explosion. If you have a crankcase evacuation system on it other than a standard PCV valve and breather, such as a vacuum pump and oil separator or header collector EVAC system, and you are still having the problem such as blowing out the dipstick tube and such then you may have another problem such as a bad ring, bad cam bearing, or oiling problem such as leaving the oil pump dry or cracked pick up tube. How much force does it take to bend 10' 3.625 steel rod?
This sounds like a homework question. Hint, define your parameters, and ask where the force is applied.
What does changing the gears on the center lathe do?
Changing the gears on a lathe enables it to cut certain pitches of threads.
What is the design procedure for semi elliptical leaf springs?
it takes the form of a slender arc-shaped length of spring steel of rectangular cross-section. The center of the arc provides location for the axle, while tie holes are provided at either end for attaching to the vehicle body.
How do you change belt of sears Kenmore sewing machine?
The belt of a Sears Kenmore Sewing Machine may break. You can replace the old belt with a new one.
What is micro VAV and pico VAV . Are those new technologies in HVAC?
Micro VAV are VAV dampers from Micro Matic.
How do you convert pascals to inches of oil with a specific gravity of 89?
The Pascal unit is a pressure unit equivalent to a (kg s-2 m-1).
The pressure for inches of oil is calculated using the equation P = h * rho * g, where rho is the density, g the gravitational constant and h the height (in this case, inches of oil). The density of a substance is calculated as the specific gravity of that substance times the density of water at that temperature.
Therefore, to convert Pascals to inches of oil,
1 inch of oil (Pressure) = 1 in. x (0.0254 m / 1 in.) x 0.89*1000 kg/m3 x 9.81 m/s2 = 221.8 kg s-2 m-1 = 221.8 Pa
or multiply Pascals by 4.509 x 10-3 to get inches of oil with a SG of 0.89

What types of steel is used in railway crossings?
Modern crossings are now cast from manganese steel rather than being fabricated from parts, this allows for less maintenance and stronger alloys to be used; these crossings allow faster trains to travel across them and trains which a greater weight.
What is the conditions of steam velocity while flow through steam nozzle?
Nozzles are designed to increase the steam velocity.
Where can you see the JNTU Engineering solved question papers?
You can see them online at various websites.
How does a knife edge bearing work?
A knife edge bearing is used to provide a low friction pivot point for a slow moving, low loaded rocking arm; for example a balance beam as in the old-fashioned shop weighing scales. The rocking arm is supported at its pivot point by a cross bar. The two ends of the cross bar are machined such that a line across their bottom edge becomes a knife edge, with the two faces of the knife blade forming an angle of about 60 deg. This knife edge pivots on two supporting pillars, one each side of the arm, which carry the weight of the arm and any applied loading. Very simple and reliable, the only problem being with wear of the knife blade over time, especially with heavier loads or fast repeated movement.
Should crome rust in three months?
Only if it is severly abused/disused/ignored. If you don't clean it or make any attempt to keep it free from surface damage - it will rust quite quickly, as Chrome is only a thin surface treatment to the base metal.
What do escalators look like underneath?
I would assume an escalator would look similar to a conveyor belt since that is basically all that it is.
What is the difference between air conditioning and refrigeration?
'One stores food and the other keeps your house cool!
