Using rocks in your amaryllis is new to you how much and when do you water?
According to everything I've read on the subject water only enough to cover the bulb's roots... NOT the bulb or it will rot. As you're likely forcing this plant in the winter you'll want to check it frequently as your home is probably dryer than you think. You do not want the roots to dry out. Keep it in a sunny location.

There was a movement from the old Negro - that is, the plantation slave - to the new Negro, African-Americans who were considered more refined, educated, sophisticated, and involved in the political process.

Why Does My 1992 Buick Skylark 3.3L Overheat New Motor New Radiator New Thermostat new Hoses HELP?
if i have read this correct, your new motor in your 92 Buick skylark is over heating, ? you have replaced the thermostat, (as a new motor would have) & hoses & radiator.. well that's about it.
have you checked & replaced (if neccasary) your water pump? this is important as it pumpes the hot water from the engine, & into the radiator, where it is cooled.
also check your fan, is it an electric fan, or is it a viscous clutch fan, attached to the engine? if it is electric, it is easy to check it, there will be a switch, usually close to the temp sender, unplug it, if it is a NO switch, you will need to earth your wire & the fan will go, if it is NC it will start as soon as you remove the wire. it is possible that your swith could be faulty.
it maybe that it is not your engine that is overheating, but a faulty sender or gauge.
if your new motor didnt come with a new thermostat, it probably didnt come with a new temperature sender either, i am not sure where this is located on a Buick engine, but normally around the thermostat, an easy way to check it is to remove the cable & attach it to earth, then your temp gauge in the car should go all the way up as hot as it can,, this means your gauge is fine, replace your sender.
it is possible that the wire may not have been re-attached when transplanting the engine, in which case, your temp gauge wont work properly either.
this works for a NO temp sender, which is the most common.
NO = normally open
NC = normally closed
these are electrical terms for the type of circuit, NC means that the wire is always earthed, until it switches, then by removing the earth, it turns the switch on,, more common on toyotas than buicks

Depends on a couple of things. First, are you any good at mechanics? Two, do you have the tools and a place to work. If yes, changing the steering rac is probably a 2 to 2 1/2 job. Jack up car and secure on jack stands. Unbolt the steering column, remove the rac bolts and tie rod ends, remove the rac. Assemble in reverse order. No big deal. However, if you ain't good at that sort of thing...
