*VERY EASY*.... just reach underneath the bumper, right behind the fog light. You turn it counterclockwise (if you were looking at the back of the bulb) and pull it out. It is pretty tight, so the smaller the hands the better. You might use pliers to initially loosen it, but be careful because it's ONLY PLASTIC!

To answer your question, use an open-end wrench or pair of calipers to measure the old one. The best approach for repairing leaking power steering pressure hoses / lines is to get the part as an assembly from the parts store. I'm an automotive professional and have had almost no success with making my own.

It is telling you that you have a problem. The anti-lock brake light is telling you that the anti-lock safety device is in the off position. There may be a blown fuse for that unit, or a switch to turn it back on, or it may need a mechanic. Look for a switch first. If the brake light is on all the time, you may have a cylinder leaking brake fluid. There is a switch that is thrown if the breaking system gets out of adjustment that way, that is if one side gets more break fluid than the other.

The crankshaft position sensor is near the front of the motor behind the starter. you need to remove the starter to change it.

Assuming it is in one of the two Intrigue fuseboxes, it will either be in the fusebox located under the hood and on the passenger fenderwell, OR it will be in the inside fusebox located on the right side of the dash where the dash meets the passenger door. CPC

After removing an EGR valve from the vehicle, the valve can be flushed with carburetor cleaner. If the valve still sticks then a replacement will be needed.

Reset the error codes in the OBD computer. Autozone will read the error code(s) out for you for free and reset the OBD2 in your vehicle. The Service Engine Soon (SES) light came on because a sensor somewhere detected an out of tolerance condition. If this happens, the on-board diagnostics stores an error code (or possibly multiple codes), which illuminates the "Service Engine Soon" light. Resetting the codes will turn off the light, but may be only temporary. If the out of tolerance condition recurs, the code will again be stored and the SES light will light. You need to correct the underlying problem, which the code will help indicate. Some conditions, such as a random misfire, will clear on their own after 5 or 10 engine starts without the misfire. If this starts happening, it is time for a tune up - new spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, etc. Editted the above, and added the following... Depending on your area, you can go to your local AutoZone, and they can sometimes reset your light. But in some areas, laws wont allow them too. My local AutoZone is like this, but if you hold their little code scanner, and ask them which buttons to press to reset it, its you that reset it and not them. Some will do this, but not all. Disconnecting the battery on a 1996 or newer vehicle no longer works for GM.

Almost all of the local parts stores here offer free testing of alternators.. O'Reilly, Murray's, Autozone, Advance, just to name a few. Stop by and ask to have it tested. have the car running remove the positive cable from battery if car stalls it's the alternator if it stays running possibly the battery.

The question you ask is too involved for a proper answer. You need to go to a car parts store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.

Tim should check the repair manual section a little more carefully, they don't have manuals for Mercedes... All of the available manuals, including the Factory Service Manual from Mercedes (2 Cd's) are all but useless.

The factory service manual from Mercedes doesn't give you any information about how the cars come apart... I have worked as a mechanic (Not Mercedes) while I was getting my Mechanical Engineering degree... They are nice cars, but they are unique in many respects. They do not come apart like most other cars on the planet. The door panels do not snap in as every other car in the world does... You have to lift the door panel up to release it... What you have to do first in order to lift up the door panel varies...

Mercedes typically likes to have no visible fasteners if it is at all possible, so figuring out how to get the door panel off without damaging it may be no simple task.

I have seen responses on the net stating "Remove the two screws holding the armrest"

Please... I haven't ever seen a Mercedes with screws through the armrest... I've only owned a couple, but neither one had any visible screws in the interior of the car... Not one visible screw. The only fasteners visible from the inside of the car were the heads of the bolts holding the door to the frame.

Tim should stick to giving advice to people working on their Chevy or their Toyota... Those cars are simple to work on.

The Camshaft position sensors (One at the front bank and one at the rear bank, the rear one will require to remove the the fuel injection V-bank cover to access)are located on the cylinder head. The front bank CPS is at the RHS near the Transmission fluid dipstick. Once identified the locations, replacement is easy. Disconnect the harness cover and remove the CPS mounting screws with a ring wrench.

If it is the same as a 1998, there are TWO(2) fuseboxes.

One is located under the hood on top of the passenger side wheel well (black box w/single hand-spin locking bolt). Fuse map/legend will be under the box lid. These fuses deal more with mechanical/engine features like AC pump, radiator fan, etc.

The other is located on the passenger side of the dash where the dash faces the passenger door. Pry open carefully. Fuse map/legend will be under the box lid. These fuses deal more with accessories like the lighters, radio, etc.

You'll need an OBD/II compatible scantool to clear the codes.

If your at the front of the car looking at the engine the drain plug is located on the lower right side of the radiator on the side facing the engine. The plug is a white plastic wing nut like screw. Just as a warning it is a huge pain to loosen the plug because it's awkward location doesn't allow your hand to torque the screw much.

The air filter is located on the driver's side. First you would need to remove the support brace that runs over the top of the air filter box.

Then remove the clips that clamp the cover to the air filter box. Now you should be able to remove the air filter.

I actually have a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue with the 3.8 and just recently changed the serpentine belt all u need is a wrench to twist the tensioner pulley to release tension to slide the belt on to the pulleys other than that no equipment is needed if u have following questions send me an email to mr.blique@yahoo.com i hope this is the answer u were looking for
