How do you remove fuel pump from a 1993 acclaim?
Drain the fuel tank if possible.
Support fuel tank with something such as a trans jack or a regular jack with wood on it so it wont hurt the tank.
Remove straps.
Lower tank just enough so you can remove all connections such as wire and hoses.
Remove tank from under the vehicle.
It is held in with a lock nut, take a screw driver and a hammer and gently tap on it till it starts to move.
Move fuel pump from tank.
Install new pump and put tank back, make all connections and your done.
Tighten it down tight (around 50-100 ft lbs) to seat it, then back it off just enough (quarter turn or alittlte less) so the tire spins free but you can't wobble it & feel bearing play. You may need to retighten & back off again after 50 miles if you pack it with to much grease.

Be more informative on "over heats". Is it being driven along time before it over heats? Is the guage showing hot but not boiling out the radiator, is there steam coming from under the hood, is there a sign of leaking under the passenger side dash or under the firewall on the ground, have you had the thermostate replaced, is the water pump leaking?

Yep, it could be the water pump or maybe the alternator. If a bearing is starting to go bad on that alternartor, it will make noise. Usually if a water pump is going bad you'll notice moisture coming out of the weep hole; but only if the seal goes bad; the bearing can chirp or squeal; take the belt off the pump; does the noise stop? turn the pump by hand does it feel loose and gritty as you turn it? if it's ok it should feel stout with no gritty feeling.

We have had a similar thing happen twice with our 1991 Plymouth Acclaim (about 140,000 miles). Both times replacing the headlight switch solved the problem. We just replaced the switch for the second time today. It cost about $20 at NAPA. It requires removing the dash panels which you can do by carefully pulling on them. We did the panel under the switch first, the one over the heater and radio second and the big one that is around the instrument panel and over the headlight switch last. You have to be very careful so you don't break anything. You might want to consult a manual to see if there are any tricks to removing the panels. Once the panel over the switch has been removed you should be able to replace the switch without too much trouble.

Check to make sure shift cable is adjusted properly. Also, check neutral start and back-up light switch located at the lower front edge of the transaxle. The center terminal of the switch grounds the starter solenoid circuit when the transaxle is in Park or Neutral allowing starter to engage.

How do you change the turn signal flasher on a 1993 Plymouth Acclaim?
To the left of the fuse panel you will see the flashers, you can up snap all of the dash trios, take the screws out and it exposes all the flashers, theres three of them right together, the emergency, signal and horn relay.
The "trio" block contains a hazard warning(short and round), a time delay relay(tall and round) and a horn relay(square). The turn signal flasher is above and behind fuse panel. It is held in place by a bracket which the flasher "pushes" into.
This also works for the 1992 Acclaim. However, I have found that the flasher is permanently mounted on a bracket which has no means of being taken down. The flasher (which may be blue in color) has a two wire connector, which pushes on from the left. Pull this connector off and you can hook another flasher on it. You can try to re-place the new flasher on the bracket, but it might be just as easy to place the flasher in an out of the way location. I don't have the biggest hands on the block, but removing the old flasher is a job for someone with very small hands.

You don't. The timing is controlled automatically by the on-board computer, which controls not only timing, but also fuel/air mixture, and most everything to do with the combustion of fuel. If the timing is off, it may have to do with one or more of the sensors the computer uses to determine how best to burn the fuel to maximize output while minimizing consumption. If you are unfamiliar with car diagnostics (which if you actually had to look THIS up on the internet, it's probably a sure bet), take the car to a reputable service technician, or randomly cut-off Toyota drivers who may "accidentally" rear-end you. The insurance money should make a nice down-payment. Just kidding, on the cutting-off drivers bit...That's just irresponsible. And rude, yes, rude. Shame on me for suggesting it...
a quick release know is one that if you tie your horse up , if he/she gets freaked out and start to panic, they cant pull the know loose (its impossible) but if you grab the other end, you can pull it loose almost immediate, with out actually untying anything. its a split second knot! as for how to make one, go on google and google images

You may be looking at a device that looks like a cigar lighter outlet, that is really just a 12v power outlet, to charge a cell phone in the car or power any 12v. appliance . That is what I have in a 1992 acclaim. It is nearly down to the floor above the tranny hump.
