depending on which you are trying to change i know the rear seat needs to be removed to access the rear speakers. there is no other way to remove the rear dash and or grilles

First thing to do is when ur in the driver seat, u should see two screws that's around the speedometer gauge of the dash! Remove the screws, then u need to remove the glove compartment! Then u'll need a flashlight for this! use the flashlight to look for a 9/32 screw that's screwed into the dash, remove that screw, then CAREFULLY, pull up from the drivers side on the dash all the way to the passenger side to remove it! Not having done it on a Lumina I will give you an answer that applies to most cars. Under the car at the bottom of the Raditor you will normally see a valve on either the far left or right side. Losen this valve with plires but be careful because many of the valves are made out of plastic. If you cannot find a valve just losen the lower raditor hose clamp and carefully pry the hose from the raditor.

answer if vehicle has valve, it is usually left hand thread so be careful it is also awfully slow using this valve however most cars no longer have this valve so just remove bottom radiator hoes from radiator if engine is hot be careful as coolant will be hot

if you are referring to the stock radio... i think you have to take off the front part of the radio... if its possible at all to replace them ==Another answer== I just pulled the front off a spare stock Delco radio from my '96 (a few plastic clips around the perimeter let it come out) There is one obvious bulb behind what would be the station/time display. Getting to it is a mystery as it's behind a plastic shield that appears to be fastened to the PC board. The lights behind the pre-set buttons are not obvious because there is a PC board right behind the front panel of the radio. If I recall correctly, I replaced this radio because A. the station/clock display didn't work, and B. because either the pre-set buttons didn't light up, or maybe just because the plastic coating over them was damaged. I found a used perfectly working replacement on Ebay for about $30.

The actual module is located in the rear of the car underneath the panel that covers the spare tire area on the passenger side. It is a small box with a red light and is attached to the side of the car.

The number needed should be in your manual, if not, remove the bulb & there should be a number on the base. When you go to a parts store, just look for the same number.

The knob you pull out is attached to the switch. To get the switch out, you will have to remove the panel underneath the dash, and some of the HVAC ductwork that runs underneath. Disconnect the battery. On the back of the switch, under the dash, there will be a little button you will have to push in to get the switch's shaft & knob to release from the switch. After that is done, you will be able to pull off the trim going around the face of the dash. It should just snap on. Then there will be a nut holding the switch to the dash. Remove the nut, the switch will come out the back, and then you can unplug it. Replace in reverse of these directions, only leave the swith shaft/knob for last. It will just push back into the new switch.

there are 2 clips both about 6 inches from each side ad about 4 inches down the eazyest way i found is to oper both back doors and slide the seat up to the roof until the clips undo do not pull as the clips will snap it does help to have 2 people 1 on each side. Samantha

here's the best i can do for you: the o2 sensor is the only thing screwed into your exaust pipe, it will have three or four wires coming out of it. It should be halfway down the pipe that is underneath the hood, or it might on the section of pipe underneath the car (toward the front).

No, you dont need the code if your gonna put in an aftermarket deck. The only time you would need the code is if you took the stock radio out and unpluged the harness, so its not a problem with a new radio.

When you turn on the headlight switch, you are turning on 2 circuits. The headlights are on one circuit and the other circuit is the tail lights and the dash lights. The tail lights are on a separate fuse and the dash lights feed off that circuit with usually a 5 amp fuse also. Sometimes when the dash lights don't work, the dash light fuse is blown. Sometimes the tail light fuse blows and it feeds 12v to the dash fuse. Also a bad headlight switch can cause the dash (and or tail lights), not to work also.

Do you see two green arrows and no dash lights?. A loose ground clip is the suspect and a real pain to fix. A hard slap with the palm of your hand on the hump forward of the steering wheel has turned the lights on every time I have tried it.

You must know all of the bulbs will never burn out at the same time also the fuse controls several other things including those two green arrows.
