As its a diesel if the cambelt has snapped i would say the head is going to have to come of and you will be needing some new valves as they would of defo bent

I had similar problem with my Scenic, the problem was with the drainage tubes at the front corners being blocked.

I used a length of wire to clear them.

Most shaft gaiters are available in a two part kit. The two halves are placed around the shaft and then glued together. I was astounded when my garage replaced a split gaiter in about ten minutes, after I had spend days trying to find a special tool to stretch the gaiter over the end of the shaft !!

You can find the fuse box diagram on the inside cover of the fuse box. You can also obtain a fuse box diagram from most auto-parts stores.

That's a good place for it so you might want to leave it be, I have a 95 eclipse.I wish to relocate the fuse box from the engine bay to the glove seedy from heat and vibration.

for me the best car Renault have ever made is the Renault clio 2.0 litre 16 valve sport. For power/ fuel efficiency this car is in a class of it's own. The exterior of the car is sporty and sleek with it's interior following the trend and keeping the sporting attributes. The ride is extremely comfortable equipped with seats that have the sense of hugging you tight in place as you manouver the car round harsh bends.

Im not an expert but most keys systems work by the car and key in synchronization. The norm to calibrate is to insert key into the ignition, switch on ignition and hold the lock key for 10 seconds give or take (Could be 15 or something). You may need to hold the blipper when turning ignition.

Under the passengers side footwell, remove trim, adjacent to the pollen filter, three screws and its out. hi i had motor problem , water had got down into motor it had stopped , it had corroded on one of the brushes on the motor , i had been quoted 360 euro to repair , but i removed the motor from the footwell by one screw not 3 there is the main round housing but under that there is a smaller housing just for the motor , once you have removed trim (velcroed) on un plug electric supply , and 1 screw at the front (easily viewed) then twist the smaller housing , its stiff but it does move clockwise or anti-clockwise then just drops out . the fan attached to motor is only press fit remove that and you got acssess to motor brushes ,if corroded remove and use emery cloth to clean . i saved a fortune , laguna 2 2002 1.6 petrol

The kangoo has a safety feature built in that locks the n/s sliding door when the petrol cap is removed, otherwise the door overlaps the petrol tank filler when opened.

The system uses a small magnet in the side of the petrol cap assembly to trigger a reed switch that then operates the locking unit.

The presence of the magnet keeps the switch open and prevents the door from locking and when removed locks the door.

My first course of action would be to make sure that the magnet is still there, it should attract an iron object. Then check fuses etc.

Assuming there is 8 wires in existing Renault wiring iso speaker plug at back of radio, the two outer wires at each end of plug are for left rear and right rear speakers, tap into these wires i.e. strip the insulation back a couple of inches from the plug and join new speaker wires onto the stripped wires.

If only 4 wires in existing Renault wiring iso speaker plug then buy iso speaker plug from auto factor and join existing Renault wiring on speaker plug onto new cable and join new speaker cables (the ones you are fitting) onto the outside wires at each end of the new iso plug.

Open the passenger door, it is located on the side of the dashboard.

leave the wiper stalk/control set down one stop from off when you switch off the engine, it will then work automatically when it rains and the engine is running

there are two or three screws on the bottom of the door, where the plastic meets the metal of the door. Again, on the lower part of the door (maybe 1 on the side too) Hope to help

Remove the strap across the back of the light in the boot. Then unscrew the bolt at the top (with hands as it has a moulded plastic piece on). then unclip the board with the lights on and replace the broken bulb. The bulb uses a bayonet style fixing.
