Where do you get a guinea pig ball?
First of all, balls are BAD-BAD-BAD for your piggie. It curls its spine into an unnatural position and can be extremely painful!! Guinea pigs kept in this position will eventually not be able to walk right!!
But if you insist...
You can find guinea pig balls in a pet store. They can also be labeled as ferret balls. Just make sure you get it in an extremely big size.
Oh, and like 98% of guinea pigs will not roll in its ball, but will just sit there and watch the world go by.
The simple answer is- a rodent is a small furry animal with two large incisor teeth. They are mostly onmivorous. 40% of all animals are rodents.
Here is the complex answer; All life on earth is put into separate categories, which helps people to understand how different life forms relate to each other- how they are different and similar. This practice of categorising life is called Taxonomy. As a mouse is a rodent, I will use a mouse as an example.
Firstly all life is separated into 'domains'. There are three domains; Archaea, Bacteria and Eukarya. All animals and plants are 'Eukarya'.
Then they are separated (they are so annoying!) further into 'kingdoms'. There are six kingdoms; Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Protista, Archaea, and Bacteria. Mice are, of course, in the first group 'animalia' or 'animals'.
Then we have the 'phylum'. The phylum that mice fit into is 'Chordata', and we humans are also Chordata, and anything that has a backbone such as a fish, a crocodile, or a finch.
Then we have the 'class'. The class of a mouse is 'mammal'. Again, we humans are also mammals, however- feathered and scaly animals are not mammals, they are a different 'class'.
Then we finally come to the 'order'. This is where we humans separate from mice. Mice are of the order 'rodent' and we are of the order 'primate'.
But the categories do not stop dividing there, rodents can be separated into their separate 'family', then further into 'genus' then even further into separate 'species'.
Our example of a mouse, then, in all these ever decreasing categories, looks like this:
Eukaryote; animal; chordate; mammal; rodent; muridae; mus; mouse.
Other rodents include rats, squirrels, chipmunks, gophers, porcupines, beavers, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, degus, chinchillas, prairie dogs, and groundhogs. They all share enough similarities to be put into one category together.
List three species potentially impacted by arctic drilling?

Guinea pigs hardly ever bite, they do bite if they're scared though ...or if they mistake your fingers for food!
Well from other resources they have to be very scared......!!!They can, but only one of the many guinea pigs I had as a child ever did. Several of my childhood friends had guinea pigs too, but I don't recall any of them being bitten.
This all depends on the guinea pig, most do not, but I can't speak for every animal. Usually if you get a younger one and treat it lovingly, they won't bite, just nibbled painfully. Most guinea pigs are very mild mannered. I've had 6 over my childhood and I've only been bitten once when one had a skin irritation and it barely broke the skin
It all depends on how you bring up your guinea pig, they don't have the nature of biting, but you COULD give that nature to them by not bringing them up well. Any abuse could lead to this.
From my experience, they rarely do bite. But if the guinea pig is upset or mad enough, yes, they will bite and they will make you bleed.
Usually, when you hand you finger to them, they just nibble at it.
Dont worry, it shouldnt happen often.
No. they are very friendly. they might give you a kiss though They can bite but a lot of them choose not to
I found that answers.com doesnt have any answers... just questions. Dont waste your time with this site

What is the symbiosis balance between the rodents and the carnivorous birds?
The carnivorous birds like the owl, thrush, parrot, hawk, eagle, etc. usually eat the rodents. The rodents are the prey while the carnivorous birds are the predators. Let's try to cut them down here:
Prey: Rodents
Predator: Carnivorous Birds
Here's a simple food chain:
Grass>Rodent>Carnivorous Birds
There's an interdependence between the rodents and the carnivorous birds. "Interdependence" means when 2 sources tends to depend on each other. There should be enough carnivorous birds to help control the rodent's population, otherwise the rodent might overpopulate or their population might explode. There should also be enough rodents to help feed the carnivorous birds, otherwise they might starve to death. If the animal population changes, it can wreck the food chain and affect other animals.
Population Change Without Grass:
If the carnivorous bird's population dropped, then the rodent's population will rise as there'll rodents to get eaten. If the rodent's population dropped, then the carnivorous bird's population will also drop as there'll be less food for them to eat. If the carnivorous bird's population rose, then the rodent's population will drop as there'll be more rodents to get eaten. If the rodent's population rose, then the carnivorous bird's population will also rise as there needs to be more carnivorous birds to take more control patrol of the rodent population.
Population Change With Grass:
If the carnivorous bird's population dropped, then the rodent's population will rise as there'll be more rodents to get eaten. The grass population will also drop as more grasses will get eaten. If the rodent population dropped, then the carnivorous bird's population will also drop as there'll be less food for them to eat. The grass population will rise as less grasses will get eaten. If the carnivorous bird's population rose, then the rodent's population will drop as more rodents will get eaten. The grass population will rise as less grasses will get eaten. If the rodent population rose, then the carnivorous bird's population will also rise as there needs to be more carnivorous birds to take more control patrol of the rodent population.
Indirect Interdependence:
Animals in the higher link also relies on the lower link. If animal went extinct, then it'll affect the whole upper part as their predator will starve to death, and it affects the other predator. Animals in the higher also have an indirect interdependence with the lower link, although they don't prey on these stuffs. Although the carnivorous birds don't eat the grasses, they still needs to rely on grass because the rodents needs the grasses, which then drives the food chain to them. This is why they need to indirectly depends although that's not their primary food source. Although the carnivorous birds don't eat the grass, they won't last long enough if there weren't any in quite a long explanation. The rodents needs to depend on grass for their primary food source, so without them, the rodents will starve to death. The rodents are the primary food source for the carnivorous birds, so if the rodents are gone, then these carnivorous birds will starve to death. This explains the indirect interdependence that higher animals also needs to rely on the lower links because the lower links helps drive every food source through the food chain, which is them passed to them.
How much does a guinea pig cost?
u can also get them 4 free look in the newspaper they breed really fast and people sometimes don't want them they're usually free or really cheap =)
They cost around 20-100 dollars, but u can sometimes get them for free- if ur lucky! :) and i just got my first hamster so it was $4 so a gunia pig cant be much more than that right? i got mine at pesmart
This depends on the breed and bloodlines of the guinea pig. Some are bred for showing and have very good blood lines. These can cost over 500 dollars. Some are just common and will cost about 10 to 15 dollars at a pet store or breeder.
== == The heater fan is electrically driven, so the fault will be either a loose wire connection, or the heater fan switch needs to be replaced. Have a licensed mechanic test the wiring and the switch function to find the fault and then repair it.
Can you dye your guinea pig with food dye?
First of all... WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO DIE YOUR GUINEA PIG WITH FOOD COLORING!!! But if it does come across your mind no you should not because it would be bad for the guinea pigs coat and plus it isFOOD COLORING! Shall I say it again Food Coloring for food only..... anyway no you should not dye your guinea pig it is a cute lovable creature and plus he would probably not like the smell of it because with there coat scent and the smell of that (you can't really smell it) it makes a kind of funky smell. Please do not do that to the g.p, would you like it if people dumped a whole bunch of paint on you if you do then I would have to say coco for coco Puff's But I beg you please it is a cute lovable animal it does not deserve to be covered in food coloring. I BEG YOU PLEASE NO DON'T DO THAT FOR NO REASON AND I'M PRETTY SURE IT WONT BE ABLE TO COME OUT OR WOULD BE VERY DIFFICULT.
P'S I am sorry for the rude comments I just don't think why you would think you should put food coloring on a g.p
How do you train chinchillas to climb on your shoulder?
Chinchillas are strong willed and can be difficult to train. Some chinchillas like to ride on shoulders and others really hate it. Small kittens will often snuggle into their owners necks for warmth and this is the best way to get them used to riding on shoulders as adults. However, if you have an adult chinchilla who wants to be trained the best way I have found is to repeat the action of placing the chinchilla on your shoulder and standing many times until the chinchilla is comfortable with it, keep your hands near the chinchilla incase it looses its grip though. Some people recommend bribing the chinchillas with raisins but only 1 or 2 should be given per day as they can cause intestinal problems. Many chinchillas will grow used to the riding on your shoulder if you are quiet and smooth in your actions, try to wear clothing that doesn't russle when you move. but it may take a long time.

Are mice rats and beaver all types of rodents?
Yes, mice, rats, and beavers are all types of rodents. Rodents belong to the order Rodentia, which includes various species characterized by continuously growing incisors that must be kept worn down through constant gnawing.
Do porcupines have radial symmetry or bilateral symmetry?
Porcupines have bilateral symmetry. This means they have symmetry across one plane (known as the sagittal plane, and directly down the centre of their body), which means one side of their body approximately mirrors the other side.
What rodent starts with the letter E?
Scorpion, Skinks, Shrimpfish, Spider, salamanders, spotted pond turtle, Shrimp, snails, slugs, southern flying squirrel, Skunk, Sandpiper, seagull, Spring peeper, Squirrel treefrog and squirrel there are more but that is all i could think of. Hope it was enough!
i don't know, but you better not use a real fox tail because if you do you are a horrible person almost as bad as a poacher and you have no care for anything or anyone accept yourself. ):-p
