Social Security disability insurance (SSDI) is available to an ill/injured worker who hasn't been able to work for more than a year because of the illness/injury. Generally, if SSDI is your only source of income, they probably aren't taxable.
The rules for the taxability of SSDI benefits are the same as those for regular Social Security benefits. A quick check is that it's taxable if your other taxable income plus half of SSDI total more than $25,000 for Single filing status ($32,000 for Married Filing Jointly).

What is the point of a w-4 form?
Tax purposes. It's to see how much you are to withhold from government taxes for purposes like family. If you claim 0 you are not claiming anyone, even yourself and more than likely will end up with more money on your tax return though each pay period you will be taxed more. If you claim 1+ you will be taxed less during each pay period but may receive less on your tax return and even owe the government.
Do you have to pay to get an emulator?
No. Not exactly there are websites where you can get one for free im not going to name any because I do not know if it is illegal or not to Download emulaters for free. That and I don't know any. But yes there probably is a place to get one for free.
AnswerWhat kind of emulator, to do what with what? All distributions of Linux that I know of come with WINE, at least, to fool software into thinking it's running in Windows. Similar programs, like Virtual PC and VMware are available, but not free, that are made to run on Windows. hmm..check this oneWell, it's rather complicated to say this. Actually it's free because you can download it from internet. But "BIOS" is illegal stuff. If you buy a console (PAY), i think you can play the emulator. But if you get it(FREE) then you have do a crime.SO, if only have the SOFTWARE it's FREE
ASWER
actually the emulator is completely free but I heard that if iou don't have the game you want to play on that emulator is illegal to download the game (but i have houndreds of roms(emulator games) and no one had busted me yet)
Does a company in Alabama have to give breaks to employees who work on Saturday?
Alabama does not have a law requiring employers to give any breaks to employees no matter what days they work.
...
There is no federal or Alabama state law mandating that an employer must allow for any meal breaks or other breaks, regardless of the day of the week that is worked.
For information on federal labor laws concerning paid breaks, meal breaks and other breaks, see this website:

For information on Alabama state laws concerning meal breaks or other breaks, see this website:

I fell in Target. Should I receive compensation?
If you were hurt and received medical seervices these should be compensated if the fall was the fault of the store. Also if you suffered long term or permanant medical issues. Although most companies will pay something if you fall on their property there is also the question of whether this fall could have taken place anywhere -- was it the fault of the company or was it a common fall as individuals do everywhere -- such as a persons ankle giving out -- this is not the fault of the company. The more a company pays out for accidents whether valid or fraudulent the more likely the customer will pay in the end through pricing or cut customer service.
Are expenses related to learning disabilities tax deductible?

Can you apply online for section 8?
I have section 8 myself. You Cannot apply online. You must contact your local housing dept. For example: Call Information 411 (or in large communities you can dial 211 and speak to a resources hotline volunteer) and ask for your local or regional housing authority.:, ex;Lowell Housing Authority, if your town doesnt have one, ask for the surrounding towns housing authority phone number No after the revisions past in October it has to be filed with a lawyer
DISSENTED: lawyer not required
In most cases you can apply online ONLY to have your name on the waiting list, not for the program itself. You can Google the Housing Authorities in your area or the area you'd like to move to, then follow their instructions on how to get your name on the waiting list-- if it's open.
What do you do if you did not get your 1099R?
Firstly, you are still obligated to file your tax return on time.
Next, you should have contacted the firm that was supposed to send your 1099R form in the first week of February. By law, all companies are required to mail these items out no later than the 31st of January of each year.
Is the 31st of January the deadline for employers to get your w2s out to employees?
Yes, it appears to be:
http://www.hrotoday.com/News.asp?id=184
The rule states that it is the deadline that an employer must have the w2 A) available for an employee to print or view electronicly. B) postmarked in transit to last known address.
I have had a couple former emplyees get very upset with me when they did not receive their w2's because they failed to keep the company updated with their current mailing address.

Does wage income reported in Puerto Rico also have to be reported in the US on Form 1040?
Excluding income from your U.S. tax return depends on whether you're a bona fide resident of Puerto Rico during the entire tax year. Generally, U.S. citizens and resident aliens who are bona fide residents don't report on their U.S. income tax return any income received from sources inside Puerto Rico. But any income received from sources outside Puerto Rico is reported on their U.S. income tax return.
Resident aliens or U.S. citizens who aren't bona fide residents of Puerto Rico aren't allowed to exclude their Puerto Rico income. Instead, they're required to report all income from every source on their U.S. income tax return.
Two helpful IRS publications are Publication 570 (Tax Guide for Individuals with Income from U.S. Possessions) and Publication 1320 (Special Instructions for Bona Fide Residents of Puerto Rico Who Must File a U.S. Income Tax Return). You can print them online at www.irs.gov/formspubs by clicking on 'Publication Number' and entering them in the Find Box
Is a taxpayer id number the same as a social security number?
No. A Taxpayer Identification number is issued by the IRS, an illegally constitued Federal agency to collect various taxes and fees (new Health Care Fee has been variously defined as a tax and a fee {legally a fee, but due to imposition, a tax}). This number is to be issued to anyone without a SSN (Social Security Number) and is not eligible to obtain a SSN, that is defined by the IRS as obligated to pay a tax or fee to the Federal Government (Treasury or other constituted agency). Usually non-US citizens.
A Social Security Number is defined by that agency as an identification number to be used to create a record of SSA taxed wages in order to figure the eligibility to Social Security benefits (and since 1974 the eligibility to SSI {Supplemental Security Income benefits [Federal Welfare] including benefits to disabled minors using income from parents in the SSI income calculation}).
An anomoly has arisen in the calculation of minor's SSI benefits when it was discovered that illegal aliens income was not retrievable or reported as the illegal parents of said minors were unable to obtain a valid SSN and therefore the minors eligibilty on income grounds was unobtainable. The Social Secuiry system has not yet obligated illegal alien parents to obtain a Taxpayer Identification number, nor has it reconstituted its computer records or interfacing systems to handle this data tag (although this can be manually input/placed on a minor's SSI record who has working illegal alien parent(s)), the agency does not require this nor encourages its eligibility workers to attempt to obtain or place this data on the disabled minor's record. The knowledge of the Immigration Law loophole allowing the child of an illegal immigrant born in the US to be considered a legal citizen (although the illegal parent or parents can legally register a foreign born child as a citizen of the parent's country of origin, this rarely occurs) currently allows such disabled children to collect SSI benefits in an unequal manner compared to a disabled minor with legal parents.
US citizens born abroad have that right through a little know State Department office in Washington DC {appears Obama's mother failed to do that [no known record of his birth certificate or record of live birth in US exists or has been verified by any legally issuing agency}. Both Hospitals in which it is claimed he was born in in Honolulu do not verify and have denied he was born at either site claimed.
The Social Security Agency states that the SSN was not created to be and is not authorized under any laws or regulations they maintain to be used as an "identification number". This agency leaves the use of this number for identification purposes to the groups that may want use it as ID. They claim and legally have no governance over its use in this regard or the acceptance or denial of "benefits" from any other private or public entity.
All of the above may be verified through the above referred to agency's websites, which are freely open to anyone who wishes to peruse same (with the exception of "black dot" pages not open to the public's perusal in order to protect each Federal agency's held information which may be used to defraud that Federal agency or another).

In some states Alienation is a grounds for divorce. It should be stated on the petition for divorce if your state requires a compelling reason to ask for divorce. If you happen to live in a no fault state, the issue of alienation is moot. In a no fault state you do not need a reason to get a divorce. In that case, your "reason" is not a consideration (legally that is). Make sure you find out if your state is no fault so that you will know how to proceed.
