Winsheild washer pump does work 1993 Toyota Celica?
Windshield washer pump does not work?
Check hoses to hood. If disconnected from nozzles, it will just spray the engine. also check to see if hoses are caught between something (crimped).
If not, remove fender on pump reservoir side of vehicle, remove pump from side of reservoir and replace with a new one.
How do you take out the fuel pump on a 1994 Toyota Celica 1.8 st?
Not positive about the "notchback" model, but on the hatchback model you must remove the bottom portion of the rear passenger seat. After doing so, you will see the fuel tank and the access point for the fuel pump. The pump is actually located inside the gas tank. Best to get a manual for this one as there are several steps to making sure you do things in the right order as you will be dealing with the evap system as well.

How do you swap out a blown engine for a new engine in the 1991 Celica gT?
This is almost impossible to answer. It is too broad. Depending on whats wrong with the engine you might not need swapping. A rebuild is possible. But a 5S-FE engine for the 91 celica is fairly cheap for a low mile running engine. They came in a number of Toyota cars back in the 90's so there is no shortage of them. That's if you want the stock engine.. A more powerful turbo engine is available (from the celica alltrac, celica GT-4 and MR2 Turbo).. a bit more expensive with about the same amount of work..
If you need help or want further information, maybe just some questions answered i would suggest going to www.celicatech.com its a website dedicated to the Toyota celica.. And covers basically everything.
Why would the speedometer read the wrong speed?
This could be caused by a larger or smaller diameter wheel/tire combination being used than the car originally had.
Could also be caused by the speedo being out of calibration itself and/or the speedo cable being stretched.
93 Toyota celica gt starts but engine won't rev up what could it be?

Though the original rear control arm bushings are designed to NOT be replaced, yes, you can purchase bushings for 1990 Toyota Celica rear control arm. To my knowledge, there is currently only one place in the world that manufactures all of the ones you could need and that is SuperPro Suspension in Australia. They are currently sold on eBay from the UK (GBP). Following are the appropriate and some associated suspension/performance part numbers:
SuperPro SPF2730K Rear Control Arm Inner Front Bushing: 2 bush/2 tubes
This part does 2 inner ends of the 2 forward arms
SuperPro SPF1221K Rear Control Arm Inner Rear Bushings: 2 bush/2 tubes
This part does 2 inner ends of the 2 rearward arms
SuperPro SPF2731K Rear Control Arm Outer Bushing Kit: 8 bush/4 tubes
This part does 4 outer ends of rear control arms
SuperPro SPF0823K Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Kit: (8 bushings, 4 tubes)
This part does both ends of 2 entire trailing arms
SuperPro SPF0462K Rear Sway Bar Mount To Chassis Bushing: 2 bushings
For bar 14 to 17 mm diameter
SuperPro LP8001 Rear Complete Sway Bar Link order 2 per vehicle
I haven't done mine yet but am about to order them and give it a try. FYI: they are NOT CHEAP but WAY less expensive than replacing the "locating arms" or "suspension arms". I ordered a set of these arms and trailing arms from a junkyard and will rebuild those first. You will have to either press out or cut out or burn out the old ones. Guess we'll see.
How much doesit cost to replace a rear main seal on a 1995 Toyota Celica?
I had it done 2 years ago and it cost 400$ CDN. I went to Minute Tune
They have to drop the transmission to get at it so its not cheap. Part was only 30$
Good Luck!
How do you change the emergency brake pads on a 1994 Toyota Celica gt?
First of all, there are no "emergency brake pads". The emergency brake or handbrake utilizes the normal brake shoes that are used by the service brake pedal.
No it doesnt who the hell told you that, have you ever looked, the handbrake uses separate shoes on the inside of the rear discs. these can be changed by
take off the rear wheels, and put on axel stands
remove the rear calipers and use string to hang caliper off suspention spring so brake pipe is not damaged
with handbrake in off position remove discs
change over shoes making sure all parts are refitted as they were orignaly
wind in the adjuster at the bottom and refit discs and wind 2 wheels nuts on to hold disc in place for adjustment
test the handbrake, if it sits high the shoes needs adjusting,
turn the disc so the inspection hole is at the bottom, using a screwdriver turn the adjuster (both sides must be done equally for correct fitment)
this process maybe repeated until handbrake is about where you want it, the adjuster on the handbrake it self under rubber dust cover this can be used to fine tune
refit wheels and check the handbrake works as desired
ANSWER:: Wow.. I am not sure where the second opinion came from, but I can assure you that the first one is correct. The emergency/parking brake on the 1994 Celica is actually just a manual hand setting of the regular rear brakes and can be adjusted from insde the car. Just lift the emergency/parking brake handle.. you will see an adjustment nut (or maybe it's a screw.. but I think I remember it being a nut). All the nut does is free-spin to allow the handle to compensate itself relative to the tension in the cable. With the brake handle pulled up about 2/3 of the way, make your adjustment and then pull the handle all the way up to test it for desired firmness. It's easy and quick to do.
Here is a site with that info, and for a lot of other vehicles:

How do you remove the rear speakers from a 2002 Toyota Celica?
you have to take off all the trim starting from the piece in the boot against the rear of the car. For each piece, take out all the screws and then pull (there will be some force required because there are also plastic clips holding these in that pull out). If the piece isn't budging, you're probably missing a screw.
Once the trim is gone, I think you have to drill out the places where the speaker is held into the frame. Either that or they screw out...
How is your Toyota Celica engine is over heating what could cause this?

Obviously this would depend on who does the work, but I'll give you some basic facts from my own experience.
To replace my car's clutch at about 90k miles cost about $1,200. This included the flywheel - I believe it was reconditioned instead of outright replaced. I think the flywheel only has to be replaced if there is a significant degree of slippage before you bring the car in, as was my case. So, if you catch a slipping clutch quickly, you may cut down on the cost of the repair significantly.
My car's clutch was replaced at a Toyota dealership in Minnesota.

How do you fix a stereo and clock that does not work in a Toyota Celica?
most likely it its fuse blown out. replace the fuse if it is.
High side (pressure) & low side (pressure) are separated by an expansion valve (located in the evaporator unit for Celica). High pressure side are of smaller pipes (warm/hot when A/C running)-->compressor -->condensor --> receiver drier -->expansion valve. Low pressure side has bigger pipes cool/cold when A/C running) -->expansion valve -->compressor. It should route under the airflow meter, going around the consensor & back to the compressor. Hope this helps, cheers, Kev.

The battery light comes on when the alternator is not charging. Changing the battery did nothing. Either put a gauge on the battery to see if it is charging, or while running, disconnet the positive cable from the battery. If the car dies that means the alternator is not charging. Most parts stores will check it for free. Oriely's , Autozone, etc.
