The #1 cylinder is by the passenger side fender. #2 is the next one to the right (facing the car from the front bumper), next is #3 and the last, #4 is nearest the driver's side fender. Look on the distributer cap for the numbered spark plug wire post. Attach number 1 to 1, number 2 to 2, etc. Very simple. If you really need to know which fires when, you can pull the plugs and turn the crankshaft bolt with a socket wrench, looking to see which piston rises when. Really no need to do so, because they also idiot-proofed the distributer shaft by making the connection to the cam shaft by a yoke that only goes 1 way to attach. (look for the match mark) So, between the numbered cap, the plugs running in order from left to right and the yoke connecting the distributor, it's pretty straight foreward. Auntetr

start at your battery check to make sure its still got some life then check the battery cables and after that go to the alternator

if it isn't any of that then check the wires.

The hood release mechanism under the hood is very secure from outside the car.

First, remove the plastic grill by removing screws and snap in fasteners. This can be done from the outside and from the front of the grill.

Next, the cover over the release mechanism must be forcibly opened up to access the mechanism inside. There is an existing small opening on the left side of the cover (facing vehicle) that can be widened by using a screw driver or small nose pliers to bend the metal back.

A long, flat tip screwdriver or a skinny punch can be used to reach in to the widened opening to either unhook the spring or push the release lever that the cable would normally pull. To push the release lever, the tool would be held horizontal and pushed to the right (when facing the front of the car). It is not necessary to remove the mechanism in order to open the hood.

It is not the engine that determine if it is FWD or RWD it is the transmission and how it is designed. You could take an engine out of a FWD vehicle and install it in a RWD vehicle if you had the skill and money to do so.

Hi,I have changed timing belts on Am and Japanese autos. Be certain that you have the right procedures "down pat" as well as understanding them before starting the procedure, because if you install a new belt improperly, you can cause more costly repairs...like burning values, etc.

If you can't fit your hand between the headlight and the fuse box to unscrew the bulb, take off the bolts at the top and bottom and the entire headlight unit will come out.

as long as they dont hit anything (like the windshield frame or each other) put on anything you like, your vision may not be as good though!

take the tires off and old brakes off and put the new ones on. put the tires back on and drive!!

you may look into what is called a throttle position sensor. it basically monitors the position of the throttle and tells the fuel injection what to do. if it goes bad, the car will stall and won't run unless you give it more gas to keep the rpm's up. the throttle position sensor is typically located on the side of the throttle body, right near where the air intake hose joins the engine. they are relatively inexpensive , available at any car parts store and easy to replace.

not sure bout the 03 model but in the older ones, the centre panel has to be removed from around the radio and you take it out from beind the panel. makes it easier connecting all the wires tho

There is no reset. If it is not working replace it.

They are a direct replacement for the lights you have installed. If you drive a truck, you know how to change lights...pop the old one out of the rubber grommet and disconnect the wire, hook up the new one and push it back in. If it is a flange mount, you'll have 3 screws to take out.

not as hard as you would think! the harness starts right behind the glove box. through the firewall. then you have to unhook the : battery, starter, alternator , fuel rail, water housing, and a couple of wires off the back of the block and the transmission.

i would unhook a couple of the motor mounts before getting started and jack the motor up a little.

3sfe is different to 3sge. F series are the economy type and 3sge is the real 'DOHC'. They almost have the same mounts but you need to have the ge harness and ecu for it to work properly.
