It is a 95 model so you will have to go to a shop that has an OBD 1 computer and it will tell you what is wrong with your engine. Any vehicle under the year of 1996 takes the OBD 1 computer and 96 and up takes the OBD 2 computer.

It depends on the year of the car.

If you have a 3.1L 1994 & older with the coil packs under the front exhaust manifold. Front cylinders are 2-4-6, back cylinders are 1-3-5. coil packs left to right are 1-4-6-3-2-5.

If you have a 3.1L 1995 & newer with the coil packs on top of the engine. Front cylinders are 2-4-6, back cylinders are 1-3-5. coil packs left to right are 5-2-3-6-4-1

I have asked the same question to a Toyota Dealer, both in Atlanta (the place I bought my SUV in 2007) and a year ago in Mexico (where I'm living now.)

In atlanta the answer was "there is not a real problem since this issue (the clunking noise in the ISS) does not pose any risk, it is just a "cosmetic" issue"... as you can infer, I was not completely convinced by that answer at all.

However, in Guadalajara, the Dealer told me another different history: "Since this noise is produced exactly by the joint of the ISS there is an evident risk of breaking that point; however, we have not have any report of an accident so far".

The solution I got was to press tight the bolts in the ISS, cover it with a rubber boot (trying to keep waterproofed and filled with heavy grease, also I have it checked and re-greased every time I have a service in my SUV.) I have done that since two years ago and the noise have faded away and there is not feel of any weird movement in the steering wheel.

I know this is neither the right nor the final solution for this problem, but it is what it takes when a car company doesn't accept their responsibility for their lack of quality controls in their designing or production systems.

It is located on the top of the valve cover, towards the back of the engine, under the upper intake plenum.

you gotta remove the rear wheels, and drums. then you spray brake cleaner throughout the entire brakes, and allow to air dry, don't breathe in the dust. you might need a pan to catch the dirt and fluid. once dry, reinstall drums, and with a screwdriver. remove the rubber plug from the drum to access the star adjuster for the rear brakes. position the hole to the top ,put the driver in about 2 inches and start adjusting it(should be downwards) mount the wheels and there you go.

remove the cover cap that is by the base of the wiper arm. you can do this by just pulling off with your fingers. The wiper arm is attached with a 10mm nut. remove th nut and the wiper arm will slip off. When re-assembling, be certain to wipe all parts with a long lasting lubricant, like WD40. you cant really. often they break and theres really no indication of a problem except that it is broken. very old belts (130,000 miles perhaps) sometimes have cracks on them but to see the cracks you have to do about a third of the job of replacing it. its best just to have it replaced at the factory designated interval, (90,000 miles).

The bulb is directly under the "PRND21" on the bottom, it is removed by a 1/4 turn counter clockwise twist. if you can't get it by reaching under the edge of the console, take 7 screws out of the console and raise it up some.

If you have ever been in wet grass, or stuck in the mud/snow, you can put the gear into the 2nd position and this will give you much more traction and allow you to get unstuck faster. 2nd gear has a lot less torque than first gear. The higher the torque, the quicker the tires will spin and lose traction. If you left it in the drive position, the transmission will automatically start out in first gear. Also when driving through steep mountain roads, when declining down, you have to keep a safe speed. The car is heavy and will tend to go faster and faster the steeper the hill. If you used only your brakes to keep you at optimal speed, they would over heat quickly and you could ruin them. So to help in this situation, you can "downshift" to either 3rd or 2nd or even 1st in extreme cases, and this will cause the transmission to stay in that lower gear, helping to slow you down.

The low tire pressure warning light should automatically reset on a RAV4 when the tire has the proper pressure. Occasionally, it is necessary to drive the car a short distance first.

I have a 2000 toyota rav4 it has no power going to the camshaft sensor or fuel pump I replaced efi relay and fuel pump relay all fuses are good I also tried a new ecm computer no differance not sure what to do next

I don't know if it is different than my 2007 Odyssey but all I do is drive the car over 25 MPH after correcting the problem (such as repairing the tire or just inflating to the correct pressure in the case of a slow leak).
