The 2011 Toyota RAV4 has an inline 4 engine.

This depends on how many dead cells there are in your battery. If most of them are dead, and only two are good, not long. Did you know that you can re-fill your batteries cells, even a maintenance free battery? All you need is distilled water and some battery acid, which is usually available at the auto parts store. Look carefully into the side of your battery to determine how low the level is, and add accordingly. I use a half acid, half distilled water mix. Use a hydrometer to test strength (available at most parts stores) and use a rubber ball siphon to move the acid mix from it's container to the battery.

These instructions are for a 98 Rav4, yours is almost certainly checked the same way; Find the transmission dipstick, should be in the engine compartment and usually has an orange plastic handle. The yellow one is the engine oil. Start the engine, shift briefly into reverse and drive, then put in park and leave the engine running. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean and reinsert it all the way in, pull out and note the fluid level, should be between the lines for hot or cold fluid.

Is it an exclamation inside a circle with stubs (like a gear)? It turned out to be the transmission on my 2000 ford taurus. It needed a qt of trans fluid and I have not seen the mysterious exclamation again. I could not find it in the manual either. The resemblence to a gear just made me think power train.

In most vehicles this is the check tire pressure light. you either have a low tire or bad sensors. Some sensors have a problem where if the tires are under 35psi the light eventually comes on, even if their recommended pressure is 30. The spares on the suvs may also have a sensor.

if ur talking about a rover 200 then that light is telling u that u have a problem with ur brakes, possibly low on brake fluid, or a wheel brake unit is leaking. check ur brake fluid level. (the brake fluid resivoir is on the driver side of the engine.middle-far left) (by matmaxww)

In order to remove the oil filter from a 2007 Toyota RAV4 you need to use an oil filter wrench. This wrench is a specialty to Toyota.

depending on what was done already, did you ever replace the timing belt, water pump, drive belts, brakes, battery, trans fluids, transfer case fluids, rear diff fluid, platinum tipped plugs, distributor cap, wires and rotor, if any. also check for worn parts like tires, bearings, tie rods, control arms, mounts, and everything you can possibly think of. remember it is better to check for these things before they break and create problems for you. good luck

I dont own a 2004 rav , but i was doing some research on pt cruiser and got scared to death about what i read I guess im gonna buy the RAV !! aNY WAY THERES A POST that says all you need do is put the trip meter in Odometer... And shut the car off .. hold the reset button down and and turn key back on again ... KEEP HOLDING THE BUTTON IN !after a bit the light stops blinking and its all reset.. Daughters 1998 RAv 2wd 4door has been an absolute Gem ! requireing only tires , and standard maintenance for 48k miles..

I have a 4-cylinder, this is probably different on the V6. On the 4-cyl. the filter is a screw-on type. I use the Fram PH3593 with the grip texture on it. This enables you to put it on and take it off without a filter wrench, because it can be gripped easily w/o slipping. You may need a filter wrench to remove the existing filter. I always drain the pan before removing the filter too. When lying under the car looking up, the filter is located just to the right of the oil pan and above the exhaust pipe. Make sure the exhaust pipe has cooled before reaching up to the filter. Be sure to have a pan under the filter when you loosen it, some oil will run out. When putting the new one on just firmly hand tighten so you can take it off w/o a filter wrench the next time. A pair of Rhino ramps work real well for this job!

find the tire pressure reset button on the lower trim panel, to the left of the steering column. (sometimes its hidden vey low on the panel) turn the key on (engine off), and hold the button in until the tire pressure light flashes 3 times. youre done!

open the hood. look right. it's right behind the battery. big black box. unscrew two screws with a ratchet: one's on the front right, the other on the rear right of the box. you'll need an extension for your ratchet to reach that one. don't worry about losing the screws -- they won't come out all the way. the cover will lift up -- but NOT easily. too many wires in the way as well as the big hose coming out of the the rear of the box. pull out the old filter -- not easy either, as it will get snagged on the screw holding in the battery. notice the position of the old filter (rounded corner front right). get out your shop vac and vaccuum inside the box. before putting in the new filter, make sure it's going in with the rounded corner on the front right. otherwise it won't fit exactly and you won't know why the heck the cover won't go back on easily. carefully slip the new filter in. like i say, take care not to snag it on that darn screw. make sure it's level, too, the back of the filter wants to dip into the box instead of sitting on the lip of the bottom of the box. to put the cover back, you need to make sure the top and bottom of the box fit into each other on the left side. then you need to put the screws back in. don't use a screwdriver for the rear one, else you might misthread it, as visibility back there is poor.

the vacuum switching valve that run the valve are a common problem they are intermittent stuck closed so do not operate the valve

The ect power button lengthens gear ratio and gives a bit of extra power

The gas tank on the 2008 Toyota RAV4 holds 15.9 gal..

the PVC vlave is located in a hole on the top of the valve cover next to the oil fill cap.

On my 1994 Thunderbird, it's inside the left fender. I had to remove the splash shield to get to it. The 1991 is probably the same since all Thunderbirds from 1989 to 1997 used the same body platform.

It's located towards the back of the engine - I have the same one that i just changed - If you look at your Air manifold - this will lead you to the Air filter - it's enclosed in a black canister pointing down - Just follow your Intake plastic pipes towards the back and you will see the black canister -

I'm not sure on the Gs300 Lexus, but I have a 92 sc400 and there are 2 screws on both sides of the fuse that have to be removed before it can be taken out. Never try to force it, it will break. Hope this helps you

Yes! I just discovered this for myself and am so relieved.

Engine must be on and in park.

Step 1: With handbrake on, pump brake pedal twice, then release handbrake.

Step 2: Hold down brake pedal, pump handbrake twice, then release brake pedal.

Step 3: With handbrake on, pump brake pedal twice, then release handbrake.

Notice steps 1 and 3 are the same. The skid light will illuminate to confirm that it's been disabled. It will only stay disabled until the next start up.

there should be a 3 position switch on the light itself, ON, OFF and DOOR. Put the switch on DOOR and that should do it. If not, you may have a bad bulb.

many times it will take more than 4 my suggestion would be to first place lucas oil stabilizer and the put approximately 3 1/2 quarts of the oil if not put 4 and one lucas oil stabilizer the lucas replaces one quart of oil the lucas is very effective and makes the oil alot smoother
