This is a big job. You really should have a shop manual before attempting this. There is a special procedure for removing intake manifold and head bolts and the same for reinstalling them. You'll also need some special tools including a torque wrench. Buy yourself a subscription to Alldata before atttempting this. It's $25 and will give you step by step instructions and illustrations to follow.

You ned a special tool to release the garter spring holding the connection together. These tools are available at just about any auto parts store for about $20.00

The best way is to use a hammer to pry off the old siding and then use a nail gun to put the new sheets up. Be careful to use a chalkline, tape measure, and level to keep things looking nice and straight!

I have had the best luck, being I do siding for a living, that if you take a standard cro bar and duc tape a block of wood 6-8 inches from the pry point, not the curved end, you can pop the siding off easilyObviously you have to start from the top. Kust some advice, if you have corner boards that are mounted to the building and not over the siding, which is better anyway, be sure to pre caulk the corner board to the building before reinstalling new siding, same with window trim. Watch for nail embeded siding on the ground, that really does smart~

Replace the starter contacts inside the starter.

I just did this on my 1998 T100 last night. It took me about 1 hour to pull the starter and about 15 minutes to open it up and change the contacts inside. A kit with the starter contacts is available from any number of sources on the Internet for under $10.

The starter is located on the passenger side of the engine, just forward of the transmission. The starter attaches with two bolts, screwing in from the back toward the front. For easier access, remove the bracket attaching the exhaust pipe to the engine. Use a 14mm wrench or socket to loosen the correct bolts. You will also have to remove the terminal wire from the starter relay with a 14mm socket/wrench. The other wire connection is a clip; just push and release.

It may be easier to remove the top bolt by accessing it from above. You can't really see it from above, due to the position of the exhaust manifold, but if you can feel for it and get your wrench on the right bolt head, you'll have more room from the top to move your wrench.

When you open the starter (gold-colored access plate that is removed with three little bolts), you'll see how the starter contacts are obviously worn. Remove the old terminals and contacts and replace them with the new parts from your kit, taking great care to replace all bushings and O-rings on the terminal bolts in the correct sequence. It's a very easy job.

It appears from the design that this is an unfortunate example of poor engineering. Those contacts are inevitably going to wear and require replacement.

I don't what auto uses a Fram 2951 but I do know a Ford 1210 compact tractor uses that particular filter.

1 ton models come w/ 8ft. bed, larger rear drum brakes, the 4x4 rear gearset, HD rear shocks and springs, a revised brake master cylinder, a larger radiator, higher rated tires, and a standard hitch. I don't think they made extended cab versions, only standard cab 2wd.

The half ton has a payload of 1,500 lbs, the 1 ton 4,000 lbs.

The half ton has a tow rating of 5,000 lbs, the 1 ton 7,500 lbs.

People all seem to have their own method to this madness, but remove tire and brake assembly may have to tap on the rotor, or depending on the model it may not be removed at this point, remove wheel bearing nut cap, remove nut, remove think its eight 12mm bolts hub assembly should be loose now, remove ball joints from upper and lower control arms, remove tie rod, hub rotor and all should come off like butter, unbolt cv axle from front differential, dont worry diff is sealed no leaky leaky. It is common just to call it a cv joint job which I dont know if you only intend to replace the one bad cv joint ( inner or outer), but i advise you to do the entire axle it isn't that big of a price difference and if your in that deep mine as well do both. On the 1994-2000 Toyota T-100, the ignitor is located under the hood, on the passenger side, towards the front of the vehicle, near the mass air flow meter. On 4-cylinder models, the ignitor is mounted on the same bracket as the ignition coil. On V6 models, the ignitor is separate from the coils (because the V6 uses individual coils for each cylinder), but the location is the same - passenger side/front, near the air mass sensor.
