Which of the visible spectrum colors corresponds to the largest energy change?
The color violet corresponds to the largest energy change in the visible spectrum. It has the shortest wavelength and highest frequency, resulting in higher energy compared to other visible colors like red or blue.
How can a contamined wire loop be cleaned?
A contaminated wire loop can be cleaned by heating it to a high temperature until the contaminants are burned off. Another method is to immerse the loop in a cleaning solution such as alcohol or bleach, followed by thorough rinsing with distilled water. Regularly inspecting and cleaning the wire loop after each use can help prevent heavy contamination buildup.
Cool Cayenne is a product from Solaray; it is made by adding ginger and aloe to a normal cayenne pepper extract capsule. Cool = Semi-soothing for the stomach due to the Aloe and Giner added. Cayenne = Pepper ;) Hope this helps.
The Visible Spectrum is that part of the Electromagnetic Spectrum which can be seen with the naked eye. It consists of the frequencies between 380 nanometers and 700 nanometers. It consists of the colors Violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red. You can get information on the total Electromagnetic Spectrum from Wikipedia or any other encylopedia.
What was the price of light bulb in nineteenth century?
In the early 19th century, the price of a light bulb would have been quite high due to the novelty and complexity of the technology. However, the exact price would have varied depending on factors such as the type of bulb and the manufacturer. Generally, light bulbs were considered luxury items until they became more affordable with advancements in manufacturing and technology later in the century.
If the dome lights or lights under the dash don't turn off after exiting the car, you can try closing all doors properly and ensuring the parking brake is engaged. If they still do not turn off, there may be a faulty door switch or wiring issue that needs to be addressed by a mechanic. You can also try manually turning off the lights using the light switch if applicable.
What is the spectrum of the moon?
The moon reflects sunlight, so its spectrum is similar to that of the Sun. It follows a blackbody curve with peaks in the visible range. The moon also shows absorption lines from elements in its surface materials.
Is uv light at night enough time for turtle?
No, turtles need a basking light or heat lamp during the day to maintain their body temperature and to help with digestion and metabolizing calcium. UV light at night is not sufficient for turtles. It is important to provide a proper light cycle for your turtle's health and well-being.
Can resistors keep a magnetic coil from heating?
Hi,
Not really. All they can do is limit the voltage and current going into the coil. The heat is a byproduct of the `transformer action` and all coils will heat up some. If you're giving it too much voltage, a resistor could help to bring the heat level down to an acceptable level if it's running too hot.
If you're using DC for your magnetic coil, take the available voltage, then subtract the operating voltage of the coil and divide that by the current of the coil, which will then give you the value of the resistor you need. Example: 12 volts (available) - minus coil voltage, divided by the coil's current in milliamps (or amps), which equals the value of resistor in ohms.
As for the power rating of the resistor (in watts) just multiply the available voltage times the current of the coil, giving you a rating in watts, and then pick a resistor with at least that much power handling capability or go a size larger if you wish. (This isn't the exact formula, but it's close enough to take care of your needs, I think.)
Hope this helps,

What happens to your muscles when you pick up something light you expect to be heavy?
The muscles contract harder based on how heavy the object is expected to be, putting more work in to lift heavier objects the same amount. However, if they put in too much work for an object, the motion over-compensates, and the muscles simply pull everything farther, often resulting in falling over.
How did Rutherford contribute to light?
Rutherford is known for his contributions to the field of nuclear physics, particularly the discovery of the atomic nucleus through his gold foil experiment in 1911. This experiment led to the development of the planetary model of the atom, which greatly influenced our understanding of the structure of the atom. However, his work was mainly focused on the study of radioactivity and the behavior of alpha particles, rather than directly related to light.
How is light redirected in a periscope?
Light enters the periscope through one end and reflects off a series of mirrors inside which are set at specific angles. The mirrors then redirect the light so that it exits through the other end of the periscope, allowing the viewer to see objects or scenes that are not in a direct line of sight.
Who discovered the light bulb and when?
Humphrey Davy created the electric arc in 1800 (no bulb). Joseph Wilson Swan created the carbon filament which produced light in 1878. Charles Francis Brush used Carbon Arc lighting to illuminate a public square in 1877. In 1879 Thomas Alva Edison put it all together in an oxygen free bulb that was "almost" perfect. Lewis Howard Latimer who had been on Edison's team invented an improved carbon filament in 1881 and a unique manufacturing process that produced the filament in 1882. In 1903, Willis R. Whitney solved the problem of darkening the inside of the bulb with a coating of the filament. The light bulb as we know it involved exchanging the the carbon filament for one made of tungsten invented by William David Coolidge in 1910 and the incadescent bulb lit up the world.
Why does a Mazda b3000 abs light come on?
may be the speed sensor/on the rear diff.
controls abs+speedo on later models/mine was on for about 6 mos before the speedo went lame/replacement fixed both
2000 Mazda B-3000. Problem: ABS light went on, then Check Engine light. Speedometer not functioning until about 30 mph, tranny shifts hard on 2nd to drive shift. Read possible diagnosis' online. Plan A: uncoupled large electrical loom plug under the cab below driver's seat. No moisture, but carefully applied heat gun anyhow. NOPE. Plan B: Replaced ABS speed sensor on the top of the differential. Mazda did not have one so went to Ford, part # F85Z-9E731-AB. Cost: $36.24. Easy fix. Backed truck up on metal ramps , blocked front tire. Left wire plug on the sensor, removed 1 bolt and wiggled the sensor out of it's hole. Then removed plug and plugged to new sensor. Put a film of oil on the sensor's O-ring, and wigged it back down into the hole. 1 bolt later and DONE. Drove it - worked fine, but Check Engine light still on. Disconnected + side battery cable for 2 hours to let that reset, and there you have it.
What causes the bending of light?
Bending of light is caused by a light ray going through different mediums, for example from air into a glass prism.
Light would bend when it hits the glass (at an angle) then bend again when it leaves the prism.
This is called refraction.
The basic cause is the fact that light travels at different speeds in air and glass.
"Diffraction" can also cause light to bend.
Another phenomenon is the bending of light in a gravitational field. This is harder to explain. The reason comes from Einstein's Theory of Relativity.
Does the moon give off light or reflect it?
The moon reflects light just as any other object reflects light that falls upon it. Only about 7% of the light from the Sun is reflected off the moon's surface == ==
The moon reflects the light from the sun.
The duration of a red light can vary depending on local traffic regulations and specific intersections. Typically, it lasts around 30 seconds to a minute.
How do you use Japanese light bulb 100V in Malaysia which is 240V?
To use a Japanese light bulb (100V) in Malaysia (240V), you will need to use a step-down transformer to convert the voltage from 240V to 100V. This will allow the light bulb to function properly without being damaged by the higher voltage. Make sure to use a transformer that is rated for at least the wattage of the light bulb to ensure safe operation.
Can a coffee table be slightly higher than the sofa?
Yes, a coffee table can be slightly higher than the sofa for added convenience and functionality. This may make it easier to reach items on the table without straining, and can also create a visually appealing contrast in the room. Just make sure it's not too high to disrupt the overall balance and comfort of the space.
Refracting telescopes have a lens at the front to gather light and focus it, while reflecting telescopes use a curved mirror at the back to collect and focus light. The main components of a refracting telescope are the objective lens, eyepiece, and tube, while the main components of a reflecting telescope are the primary mirror, secondary mirror, and housing.
What can the other five radiation bands used in astronomy tell us that visible light cannot?
Light is important for various reasons. It helps plants undergo photosynthesis, providing them with energy, and also regulates our circadian rhythms, influencing our sleep-wake cycles. Additionally, light allows us to see and perceive the world around us, enhancing safety and productivity.
When an object appears to be yellow what color of the spectrum is reflected?
Yellow light is made of primary colors red and green. Yellow objects absorb the blue light and reflect the red and green, so we see yellow. If I'm wearing a green shirt, the color reflected is Green. All others are obsorbed. Ta-da!
