How do you get burn marks out of fiberglass bath tubs?
If they don't come off with a mild abrasive, you probably can't get them off. You may instead be able to refinish the bath tub. Check at your local hardware store for options.
If you want to take it on, read up on fibreglass repairs. You will need to remove the tub and repair it from the underside. You will need some fibre glass cloth and a two-part epoxy resin. You will also need to feather sand the inside and possibly put one or two plies on the inside. Repainting never works in tubs and showers using normal paints. You will need a two-part epoxy paint. A heat lamp is also beneficial in the cure cycle for all epoxy resins and paints. The two parts of any epoxy system are the base and the catalyst or hardener. Once mixed, you will have a set time (depending on the manufacturer's instructions) to work with it before the hardener causes the base to gel. This is known as the working life. After it gels, it must be left untouched until the cure time is up. Once cured it should be hard to the touch, not tacky.

How do you replace the cigarette lighter on a 1996 subaru legacy and where is the fuse located?
The procedure is similar to replacing the stereo. The key is to remove completely the surrounding housings and consoles. Use magnetic screwdrivers, because if they drop, they will fall into the console, and be very difficult to retrieve. All screws are Philips head. You'll need long-shaft and short-shaft screwdrivers.
The best approach is to start at the center console (between the seats and to the rear of the gear shift). Open the center console, and you will find 2 screws. Remove them. Remove the the center console.
Then go to the decorative trim around the gear shift. Most often it is a shiny plastic faux wood piece. Start at the top (toward the radio console.) Gently pry the front side up and work around the edges to spring the snaps out. Gentle flexing will get you there, be patient. At the bottom of the piece (toward the rear of the vehicle) is a tab that slides under the console to the rear. Once free, this piece can be rotated and removed around the gear shift knob, unless you've replaced it with a wide "T" handle. If so, remove the gear shift handle.
The trailing console piece can then also be unsnapped and removed. This allows the center dash console to be removed (at the bottom).
Slide the cup holder out (above stereo) as far as it will slide. It will not slide out of its housing completely. There is a screw on each side. Remove them and slide out the cup holder assembly out of its cavity.
Slide the ashtray out of its housing completely. Underneath the upper housing there are 2 SHORT screws. It is tight, so you will need a short-shaft Philips screwdriver. These are tricky... don't drop the screws.
The center dash console (around the stereo and ashtray / cigarette lighter) can then be removed. It is tricky to pull the console out, because the wires to the cigarette lighter are attached.
The wires are attached by slide-on connectors to the exterior of the cigarette lighter assembly. One connector attaches to the outside and the other to the rear pole. The cigarette lighter power unit is housed inside three metal cylinders that screw together.
Remove the cigarette lighter wires, attach to the new unit (~$7 at a retail auto parts store). Use a tester or a GPS unit to ensure that there is power going to the unit. There is a decorative ring that can be re-used if desired.
After the new unit is attached to the console, reinsert onto the central console housing. It's a little tricky reinserting the console with the wiring attached to the console.
Reattach all the assemblies and consoles in the reverse order described above.

Yes even though statistics show that pitchers do not make the best batters and don't practice offense as much as they are a defensive player, pitchers should still have to bat.

At the first port, Tauranga, we visited the bottle shop, bought 6 bottles of wine and a bottle of whiskey which went through the xray machine and no questions were asked. We then had our drinks in cabin before dinner even though not quite as good without the meal. The prices were just as offensive as the ship's habit of charging us $11.00 US per head per day for gratuities, would have been $304.00 US for the trip. We had no idea who would have received these funds, about $220,000 US for the whole ship on that trip so refused to accept the charge and tipped our stewards personally. One companion brought spirits on board in her luggage as well as champagne. No questions again.
- I can speak only for Norwegian Cruise Line because I am an employee however most all of the other lines follow the same policy. You cannot bring any hard liquor on board and can only bring wine if you are willing to pay a $15 uncorking fee (NCL's amount.) That is the official answer; unofficially you can bring however much you want but be prepared that if your bags are part of a random search and the alcohol is found it will be kept aside for you and returned at the end of the cruise.

Methane is a highly explosive gas. If cigarettes gave off any significant amount of methane, they would explode! The amount in cigarette smoke is of the same order as that in the Earth's atmosphere (0.000179%) which, as cigarette smoke is mainly "fresh air", is probably the source of most of it in cigarette smoke.
The health hazard of methane is not its toxicity but, when there is sufficient of it in the air we breathe (over 20%), not enough oxygen reaches the lungs and we can suffocate.
Methane is also produced by bacteria in animals' (including humans') instestines which results in "flatulence" (to use the medical term!). You are more likely to suffocate in a field of "flatulent" cows than by breathing in cigarette smoke.
