I have the C4 platform and I've been searching for months, nobody seems to know where the fuse is, however, I have reason to believe it is somewhere hidden under the drivers side dash. It is not located in the fuse box on the drivers side where the rest of the fuses are.

Open the driver's side door, on the left hand side of the dash next to the steering wheel, pull the panel off to display the interior fuse panel.

hey dude look at the fuse box on the ends you will see a white clip on both ends pull them out and lift the fuse box and pull it will allow the fuse box to come out. On the top of the fuse box you will see the blown fuse for the cigarette lighter. It will be the white 15 amp in the middle of three. Replace the fuse, carefully re-seat the fuse panel and clip it back in.

hi my name is martin i have done this with my v6 mondeo put the ignition key in and turn it to n03 and back 4 times in under 3 secs the red light on the computer will stay on the car is now in learn mode put the remote to the dash and press the key button the red light will flash its is now programmed put the key back in the ignition and turn the car on and off and try the key if it dont work disconncet the battery and reconncet it then procedure again

If you did it on exposed parts like say on the fuel then yes but it shouldn't if you just drop it on the body work. nearly everycar that ive seen has the fuse box located bottom right by the drivers foot well. check all the fuses and you will come across a broken one. this fuse is likely used for more than features (probably all acc features) if you don't find any then you lighter or loom to the lighter is stuffed.

Malibu 2005 has 3 boxes of fuses: in the middle, side of passenger when the foot rest. Other in the hood, driver side, black box and in the trunk, left side. Cigarette lighter fuse is in the trunk, left side, fuse #20 , yellow one.

The air intake system for most vehicles is located over the transmission hump between the driver and passenger. You can spray some air freshener down in this area and it will circulate through the vents. Try this on MAX AC. Additionally, you can put an can of air freshener down there full time.
