How are radio waves the same as light waves?
both the radio waves and infrared waves travels at the same speed but different in their frequency and wavelength
Radio waves:
In radio waves wavelength is large(1 to 100km) and frequency is small
Radio waves are less energetic than infrared waves

How do you remove a radio from a 97 s10 blazer?
A Phillips head screw driver and small socket will be needed to remove the dash panels. I also like to use a small pick tool that looks like a little hook to place behind the the dash panels and gentle pull the panel away from the clipped areas.
You must be careful to have removed ALL screws of each panel you are removing otherwise you will break/damage your dash.
First start by removing the screw near the cigarette lighter (to the left of the cigarette lighter).
You will need to remove the drivers side lower dash panel before you can completely remove the bezel surrounding the stereo and speedometer... because it overlaps the upper dash trim. Once you remove the bottom dash trim you can remove the 2 remaining screws from the upper bezel.
You must put the vehicle in the lowest gear position for the dash panel to clear the shifter when removing. REMEMBER to unplug all wiring harnesses and don't yank or pull to forcefully on anything... if it seems stuck then either a screw was left in tact or a wiring harness is still connected to a switch mounted in the dash panel.
Once removed you can clearly see the screws to remove the factory stereo... You must have an install kit that contains the GM wiring harness adapter otherwise you will loose some nice factory features. The wiring harness can be found at Circuit City or Best Buy!
Good Luck!
Do microwaves have longer wavelengths than radio waves?
If they are travelling throught the same medium, then no. They are both types of electromagnetic waves and so they travel at the same speed (in a vacuum, that velocity is around 300,000,000 metres per second).

How do you remove the factory radio from a 1995 Chevy Corsica?
The first thing you need to do is remove the four screws that hod the trim around the radio/ gauges. Once removed, unplug connectors on the back of light switches and remove trim. The radio will have a lot of screws that hold the radio/heater control. Remove them all until the radio comes out. You can get a block off kit either from auto zone or wall mart for a pretty cheap price. Next follow the wire down to a large silver box under the dash. Unplug and remove the box. Keep the wires in case you want to wire in an after market radio. The kit also includes an after market stereo mount. Wire a quick connect harness to your stereo and it will plug into the wires you removed from the silver box under the dash. These wires may need to be untangled a bit to reach to the new stereo.
How does the radio help us in the day to day life of a human?
A radio programme receiver does not need to be directly in view of the transmitter to receive programme signals. For low frequency radio waves diffraction can allow them to be received behind hills, although repeater stations are often used to improve the quality of the signals.

How do you remove the radio onfrom a 2004 Honda Odyssey?
I'm doing this from memory since it's been about four months since I actually did this.
This is for a 2005 LX. EX procedure may be slightly different.
Disconnect the negative battery cable and make sure it can't come back into contact with the negative battery terminal.
1) Remove the plastic tab (where a push button probably is for EX model) to the upper right of the radio.
2) Carefully pry off the plastic piece which surrounds the stereo. I used a thin screwdriver and sock, and slightly scraped things up. In hindsight I should have used a specialized pry tool for removing such things. I think there were four or five places where this plastic panel is clipped into place.
3) After you get the plastic panel pried off, slowly remove it. You will need to disconnect the three wire harnesses connected to the buttons / indicators on the plastic panel.
4) The plastic panel should now be out of the way. Remove the four mounting screws holding the radio in place.
5) Slowly slide the radio towards you. Disconnect the wire harness and the antenna.
6) You should be ready to install a new stereo.
As a side note, when pulling the wire harnesses apart be sure to pull from the plastic connectors and not on the wires. If you pull on the wires, they may come loose from the harnesses.
If you are hooking up an aftermarket stereo, be sure to use a wire harness to connect from the aftermarket stereo to the Pilot's harness (otherwise you'll end up having to cut off the Pilot's wire harness which isn't ideal). I'd also recommend soldering and heat shrink tubing the aftermarket stereo's wiring to the aftermarket stereo's wire harness. It takes a while longer than the crimp or electrical tape method but ensures a robust connection and no electrical shorts when done correctly.
My aftermarket stereo has a power antenna connection. This needed to be connected (the Pilot's antenna is part of the rear window and thus isn't powered) because there is a signal booster which requires power (otherwise you won't be able to tune into any AM stations and will get very poor FM reception).
