How fast does mold grow on bread?
Depends. If you leave it out in a dry environment it can take several weeks because it is difficult for spores to germinate in that condition. If placed in a place like in a sealed plastic bag, the moisture will gather up in there and the mould spores will germinate fast, in 1 maybe 2 days.
If you want to do this experiment, look up the question "How do you mold fruit?" and I have answered that there.
Hope this answers your question!

Yeast is typically derived from a strain of a single-celled fungus called Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is cultivated in a nutrient-rich medium, often containing sugars like molasses or corn syrup, under controlled conditions of temperature and aeration. The yeast cells multiply and ferment the sugars, producing carbon dioxide and alcohol as byproducts.

it was only about two months ago when i weighed about a stone more than what i weigh now, and i had enough of weighing what i weighed, so instead of just starving myself or going on a fad diet, i just changed my life style almost completely. and one of the foods i changed was: no more white bread! just the brown stuff! because white bread is slightly higher in fat, sugar, salt and it's about 40 more calories than brown bread.

Can someone have an intolerance to yeast extract?
I think I am intolerant of natural yeast. I live in Italy and all breads, croissants and pizza bases are made with this natural yeast. My problem is that anytime I eat one of the above I cannot go to sleep - I stay awake all night. So now I am baking my own bread with chemical yeasts or raising agents.
Hope to have helped
